Designed for overhead lighting as well as close-up work, the Exatile CCT Bi-Color LED Light Panel from Exalux is a tunable 3100-5700K LED tile for film and broadcast setups. You can add just the right amount of light to your shot whether you are in studio or on location. The panel 2 x 2' offers light uniformity over the entire tile's surface, all with a color rendering index of 97. The light can be powered with an AC adapter using its included power cord or through V-mount batteries, available separately.

You can adjust the light's variable color temperature between 3100 and 5700K, and this versatile output is dimmable from 0 to 100% brightness. At 120°, the Exatile CCT outputs up to 1100 lux from a distance of 3.3'.

High scores with CRI of 97, TLCI of 98, and TM-30 Rf/Rg of 96/104 ensure accurate color rendering.

In addition to the onboard controls, the Exatile CCT features wireless control via LumenRadio CRMX, and it has an internal omnidirectional antenna with a range of up to 1640'. There is also a wired DMX control interface for connection and synchronization with other lights, as well as a USB connection.

A: The choice of one product over the other is going to depend on your needs. While the 560AS offers a wider CCT range (2300K-6800K) than the 800D (3200K-5600K), it does not offer the same RBG capability. If you use color effects on a regular basis, the 800's RBG feature will be extremely convenient. If you only need the bi-color feature, the 560AS is the better option as it is brighter.
