A: It would be compatible with just about anything. It screws in on the bottom and loops; just like a strap on the top corner. Make sure it's nice and tight and you'll love it. I have a 7D with a 300mm lens that is a beast to carry around. I usually have a flash on as well. It stays tight to your hand, even if you don't wrap your fingers around it. You'll like it for sure. I've taken it to sporting events for 3 or 4 hours and experienced zero fatigue.

I use the OPTECH straps on all my handheld cameras. Nikon & Hasselblad cameras are much more secure when off the tripod situations. The OPTECH system of straps and adapters are well made and inexpensive. All my straps are interchangeable. 5

Using this strap on a Lumix FZ300, and so far, so good. For anyone worried about the rivets scratching your equipment, a small piece of 3/4 or 1 wide Velcro wrapped around the rivet area will remove that threat, and you won't notice it's there. I ordered this wrist strap along with the Rapid Fire Secure Camera Sling Strap by Altura Photo which I also like as they're both quality items, but for my needs I prefer the Op/Tech because it's about 1.5 shorter, a little softer, and a tad easier/quicker to remove from my wrist. YMMV. 5

I used this on a recent trip while taking photos on some hiking trails and waterfalls in North Alabama. The added security is nice. Just remember to always attach it to your camera. I almost let my camera dangle but I remembered I didn't attach it yet. Close call! 5
