This is my second one, it is the best. Don't get foold by the price, much better then the ones that travel your camera upside down, witch is a non sens.

This is to replace the existing Canon Sling as it does not pay to advertise when traveling through Africa and also a more comfortable shoulder strap

I wanted a way to quickly sling a small pro video camera over my shoulder safely whilst working normally with a stills kit. This strap is perfect. Plus it has no metal hardware to jingle when shooting video (audio). All in all very nice and I love the camera mounting straps when using a pro video camera with an XLR handle -- it leaves the door open for numerous mounting options, UNLIKE the other guys who want to use the 1/4 20 screw on the base of the camera. Get it set correctly and it makes for additional stabilization too. (:-)

got this strap after looking around for a cheeper option of some pricier ones of same stile. I use it with my Nikon D300s and 70-300mm lens-you can't even feel you are caring anything. Comfortable , easy to put on take off,unbuckle. When using you camera vertically strap my get in your face a bit but you can easily unbuckle it.

I gave this as a gift to my brother. He immediate attached his camera to it to demonstrate how it works. In his words, Cool! It was one of 3 he had desired. The price can't be beat.

I use my Canon 7D mainly for video, and I do not like having a strap on the camera when shooting video. However I've been getting into photography more and more and realize a strap is very convenient. The problem is how long it takes to add or remove the OEM strap. Very frustrating. I know there are a lot of options which use the 1/4-20 tripod mount of the camera, but that is a non-starter for me because I almost always have a manfrotto tripod quick release plate on my camera, so I needed something that would work quick and attach to the strap mounts. Also, I use my camera in a steadi-cam type rig quite often, and it was easy to balance the camera with the two short leads which stay on the camera... now I can just quickly disconnect the strap, put it on my rig and begin flying the camera immediately. Speaking of the quick connect leads, they were very smart in making one male and one female so there is no confusion which lead connects to which buckle on the strap. I like how the sling allows me to hang my camera at my side/hip rather than on my stomach... this feels much more comfortable and quicker to reach for me. I also like how I can choose to connect one or both of the quick connects to the camera. I usually connect just one which allows the camera to hang more comfortably at my side. Finally, I like how the stopper clip on the strap allows me to customize how far up or down the camera will slide when hanging on the strap. I do wish it had come with another stopper clip for the second lead, but I'm pretty sure I can add one myself. This is very comfortable, quite flexible to set up for your own particular preferences, and I believe it's a great price.

It does exactly the same thing as the more expensive slings in the market. But what I like about the Utility Strap-sling is that it has no metal at all, which means no scratches to your gear. The shoulder pad is VERY comfortable. I tied the connectors together to the 70-200mm lens collar for sling use, and convert it into a neck strap for lighter lenses with the Uni loop connectors available separately.

I used the Utility Strap-Sling for about a week, very comfortable to carrying the camera. The camera slides smoothly thru the strap without any problems.

Works great! Got it for an upcoming vacation to the 4 corners area. Needed it to carry a heavey L glass zoom. Comfortable to wear.

I have always prefered a sling over the standard chest strap and have usually had to make them myself out of climbing webbing. Now with no stores around selling cordage, along comes Op/Tech. This sling is fantastic! It's comfortable, infinitely adjustable, and the cords that attach it to the body are more than secure. Combine this with the ability to simply unsnap the sing from the body, it's well worth the modest cost!
