I use this with my D7000. Nice alternative to a neckstrap which I hate to have on. Nice security when grabbing your camera to shoot. Becomes annoying in hot weather.

I bought a Canon 20D the first year they came out (maybe five or six years ago) and wanted something like this, but no luck. Eventually I stopped looking. When DSLRs started having video capability, I figured... They must be making stabilizing wrist cuffs/straps. And, of course, they are. But I really only need a safety strap like this little rascal. So far it is awesome, well constructed, soft and stretchy, comfortable, and does the job well. My only niggle is the little plastic wrist-size adjuster. I have had several of these kind of straps for compact digitals and I liked their slider better than this one for this reason: This one stays in place well, and slides with a resistance that makes me feel like I am damaging the cuff; the others slid much more easily, but of course could loosen when in use. OP/TECH has clearly made their choice for a stretchy neoprene cuff and a stay-in-place slider. I just preferred my other straps which were the opposite choice.

I currently use the strap on a Lumix G1. I did have to add a #10 stainless split ring to be able to mount the strap but it was worth it.. Comfortable and quick to remove this strap is a great buy and provides great security. I learned this the hard way when using the camera with out the strap and having it slip out of my hand.

I am a two camera shooter when I cover events. One camera has a regular OP/Tech strap on it but on the camera I use most often I wanted choices. When in 2 camera mode I put my main camera on a Black Rapid strap. But when I only need one camera I'd prefer to just carry it in my hand. But being the clumbsy type I need to secure it to my person in some fashion. Well the SLR strap does that. It is very well made like any OP/Tech product I have ever bought and very comfortable to wear. I feel very safe when I have it on.I highly recommend it.

This wrist strap makes holding the camera by my side perfectly convenient. Using a shoulder strap, even sliding one, sometimes is cumbersome. This attaches via a looped strap on the frame instead of using the tripod mount. It also has the plastic clip which allows for easy removal when using the camera on a tripod. There's a bit of spring in the strap, but it seems quite strong enough to hold my DSLR and L-series lens.

Good: With a heavy setup (D700 plus 70-200 lens), I feel much saver with this strap installed in additional to the standard camera strap. Fair: I wonder how much weight the rubber like material (the side that install to camera's eyelet) can handle.

Perfect! It was a little hard to get it through the hole normally used for a camera strap, to be honest it's a minor issue but once it's on it does a great job and feels very secure. Now I don't have to worry about dropping my camera.

Wearing a DSLR with a decent lens on a neck strap became tiring and painful, so I switched to this wrist strap. It's excellent... soft neoprene is snug around your wrist but not too tight. It may get a little sweaty, but no more or less than any other nylon strap.

I put this on my Lumix FZ40 and took it through a 10 day vacation in the mountains. It always felt secure- even in those very iffy moments of letting the camera go completely. Fit is snug and adjustable. It can get a bit sweaty on a hot humid day, but what doesn't? Otherwise, there is no weakest link.
