Designed for fast setup in ENG- and EFP-style shooting scenarios, the Agile 12 is equipped with a CNC-machined dial mechanism for crisp, repeatable counterbalance adjustment in 10 steps. The Agile 12's versatile design enables you to quickly change camcorder configurations within a payload range of 4.4 to 30.8 pounds.

The Agile 12 is equipped with a 5/5 + 0 fluid drag mechanism and offers a tilt range of 90 to -80°. The considerable amount of fluid drag available at higher increments enables experienced operators to acquire full-zoom, pan/tilt-intensive images that are indistinguishable from those acquired in close. This fluid head uses the full-sized E-Z Load camera mounting interface, which is compatible with the industry-standard spring-loaded, capture-type interface and fits the pace of shoot & scoot workflows.

Q: 3. Is there an advantage to the Euro plate version vs the sidelock version? The Euro plate seems kind of small.

A: It is a matter of preference when choosing between a sideload or Euro-style plate. With a sideload plate, you have the benefit of sliding the camera forward and back to balance your camera on the head. With a Euro-style plate, the camera pops in and out with rapid speed and zero adjustments are to be made. There is a separate sliding plate underneath for balance. Euro-style plates tend to cost more than their standard tripod plate counterparts, but add stability and quickness.

Q: 4. have got the original ACE in aluminium legs. Can i purchase this carbon fibre legs separately for use with the ace fluid head i currently have on the aluminium version?

A: Hi, unfortunately not. Thee CF legs only come in the Ace L system package. But you can go for the 75 mm SpeedLock tripod.

A: You do not need a VCT plate for the Cartoni head but it is necessary for the SHAPE Compact Revolt Shoulder Baseplate.

Q: 8. I see 2 different mid-level spreaders. Does this come with the barrel twist or lever?

A: The OZEN 100CF2HD 100mm Carbon Fiber Tripod uses flip brake levers.

Q: 9. Can the floor spreader be removed? Does it have spikes for outdoors if removed?

A: Yes, the floor spreader can be removed and the tripod does have spiked feet.

I've been a pro photographer for 30+ years, had 5 studios, and have used many tripods. My tripods vary depending on intended use... in studio, wildlife, light lenses, heavy lenses, portability, etc. As a general, all around tripod that will support my 200-600 and anything smaller I find this Sirui ET-2204 to be the very best I've ever had. The clip leg extension style is my favorite for fast sizing, the light weight makes it easy to carry in the field, and it's fine in studio, although I don't use ball heads in studio. I have 3 of these. The wife uses one I use the other two depending on where I'm located. The carrying strap is also useful if hiking or just for long walks, freeing up both hands. 5

Gorgeous and very sturdy tripod. But the weight in the specs is misleading. A tripod is a portable tool, and you have to carry it wherever you use it, so specs should be more precise on the weights. Love the flip-locks, but I have to return it because for my use it's a bit too heavy. 5

Great travel tripod, incredibly sturdy and every bit able to be a backup for my much bigger equipment. It folds up small, has several nice features and is lighter, yet sturdier than my previous tripod. My only complaint is that this comes bundled with a tripod head that I neither needed or wanted, but these legs are not available separately. 5
