A: The Ubiquiti Networks UNVR UniFi Protect NVR (BH # UBUNVR) features four 2.5/3.5" drive bays that can each accept HDDs up to 8TB. So just one 8TB drive may be installed if so desired.

Q: 2. I have poor AT&T signal and sometimes use weBoost Home (BH #WE470144). Can I plug this UniFi appliance directly into the weBoost amp so that it can take advantage of the amplified signal with the external roof mounted antenna?

A: This Unifi appliance is standalone in that respect. It cannot work together with the WeBoost.

Q: 8. I have a cloud key but not the new cloud gen2+. My NVR isnt showing up in the UniFi Network dashboard though I am able to access the NVR through the UnifiProtect dashboard. Do I need a new Gen2+ cloud key to get this to showup on my unifi network dashboard?

A: Please check that the Ubiquiti Networks UNVR UniFi Protect NVR BH #UBUNVR has been updated to the latest firmware. A cloud key is not necessary. This NVR will operate as a stand-alone component.

Q: 9. Does this work right out of the box or do you need to purchase hard drives to get it running?

A: This requires hard drives to be purchased separately

Q: 10. We have a unifi security gateway and ubiquiti switches, does it matter which devices connects to it? I know the Unifi Security gateway is not the newest tech, but it what we have.

A: The Gateway should be at the top of the chain of devices. The switches can connect to the gateway. I also recommend a Cloud Key which will have the Unifi software built in to control devices.
