Q: 1. AtomOS makes a much more expensive cable ATOM4K60C5. Can you detail the differences? For instance, this cable appears to be compatible with the GH5, but only for 4K @ 30 fps. It appears the more expensive camera is required for recording 60 fps.

A: ATOMOS support told me this: The main difference is the v1.4 tops out at 4k 30p...the newer cable is I believe a v2.0a and will handle HDR, 4K 60p. If you aren't doing HDR or 4K 60p the less expensive cable will work... My problem turned out to be the write speed of the disk, not the cable.

Q: 2. Hi! What is the difference with the VideoMic GO II?

A: The actual microphones that are included with the RODE VideoMic GO II Ultracompact Analog/USB Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone and the VideoMic GO II-H Ultracompact Analog/USB Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone are exactly the same, but the shock mounts are different. The VideoMic GO II comes with the SM8-R Shock Mount, which has two lyre-style mounts that hold the mic with clips, while the VideoMic GO II-H includes the new HELIX Isolation Mount, which the mic slides into and it holds the mic at one point near the middle. The foam windscreen included with both models is exactly the same.

Q: 3. this cable is compatible with t5i??

A: I am not sure. I bought it for use with my GH4 and a Convergent Design 7Q. For some reason the 7Q will not recognize the HDMI input. Since learned that is a 7Q issue and was fixed with the new 7Q+. I'm sure you have checked the connections to see if they will fit. The big question is if your camera or monitor will recognize the other. Hope it works out.

Q: 4. Is this cable compatible with a Nikon D7000 to HTMI input on the back of an LG TV?

A: Hello George, it should be fine, the cable is quite short though...

Q: 5. Will this cable support the Uncompressed Full 1080p HD out from the Canon 5D MkIV?

A: Yes, I use this for the same use out of an A7rii

Q: 6. Will it work with a Pixel phone? Specifically the Pixel 6a?

A: The RODE VideoMic GO II-H Ultracompact Analog/USB Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone (BH # ROVMGOIIH) will work with a Google Pixel 6a mobile phone.

Q: 7. There are contradictory answers to customers asking if this cable supports 4K 60fps. Does it?

A: For many cameras and monitors, the Atomos Coiled Mini-HDMI to HDMI Cable (BH #ATATOMCAB008 • MFR #ATOMCAB008) does support 4k 60fps. For some higher bit rate cameras, this cable would not support 4k 60fps and we would recommend going with an Atomos AtomFLEX Coiled Mini-HDMI to HDMI Cable (BH #ATOM4K60C3 • MFR #ATOM4K60C3).

Q: 8. Will this fit and work on Leica Q3 43?

A: The RODE VideoMic GO II-H Ultracompact Analog/USB Camera Mount Shotgun Microphone cannot be connected to the Leica Q3 43 Digital Camera because the camera does not feature an external microphone input connector.

Q: 9. Does this fit the EOS R?

A: It does work with the EOS R.

Q: 10. Is this compatible with the EOS R?

A: Hello Scott, I believe the EOS R does use a MINI HDMI so yes this would work.
