Power your equipment and ensure they are protected against power fluctuations with the APC BE700G3 Back-UPS System. Suitable for home and business alike, the BE700G3 provides you with surge and battery backup protections allowing you to turn your equipment off in the event of a large power loss.

You get a total of six NEMA 5-15R outlets split between two surge-only outlets and four surge and battery backup outlets. You get a maximum output of 700VA, 420WW and 12A from a single 120VAC @ 50/60 Hz NEMA 5-15P cable. You can also connect a USB cable to the BE700G3, allowing you to leverage the 15W charging for mobile devices. In the event of a power failure, the 12V sealed lead acid battery kicks in, allowing you to properly shut down your equipment. When depleted, the battery takes 10-hours to fully recharge. Built-in surge protection protects your connected equipment and features a resettable circuit breaker.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hello, Since this device is Simulated Sine Wave and not Pure Sine Wave will it be able to keep my G Tech hard drives running or do they require Pure Sine Wave? Thank You Very Much. John

A: This can be used to power a computer and computer peripherals.

Q: 2. Does this unit have a flat plug?

A: It is relatively flat, it faces down rather than out of the socket.

Q: 3. How long of run time does this unit have when it kicks in ?

A: It really depends on how much equipment is plugged into it. With a computer, large screen monitor and speaker system, it has gone 20 minutes with no problem. I have never tested it beyond that, since my main purpose is to give me an opportunity to shut down the system in an orderly fashion without losing documents in the event of what appears to be more than a brief blackout.

Q: 4. replacement battery for back-up pro 700?

A: Shipping cost is based on weight, and batteries are not light. Look for a local source, or someone who can pick one up and haul it for you. We'd buy batteries from an electronics shop in Spenard, and someone from Valdez or Cordova, Alaska would usually pick them up for us. Much cheaper than shipping by truck and barge, as batteries are not shipped by air or the mail system.

Q: 5. puedo regularlo para 120v?

A: Este producto no puede ser regulado para 120v.

Q: 6. how long is the included power cord?

A: The cord is approximately 5 ft

Q: 7. How much bandwidth does the coax port support?

A: The manufacturer does not specify a coax bandwidth for the APC Battery Back-UPS Pro BX850M BH #APBX850M.

Q: 8. Is there 3 outlets that are both surge and battery and 3 that are just surge? Or is it just 3 surge and 3 battery?

A: All outlets are surge protected with 3 on battery as well

Q: 9. Can you power a CPAP. If so, for how long?

A: We don't recommend using the APC BE1050G3 Back-UPS System, or any other UPS units, with life support devices.

Q: 10. how many hours does it last when electricity goes out?

A: How long the APC Battery Back-UPS Pro BX850M lasts will depend on the total load of all the connected devices. This UPS has a maximum load of 510W, and at that load, it will have a runtime of about 2 minutes. At a half-load of 255W, however, the runtime will be about 8.9 minutes.
