A: I am not familiar with the Sony product, but I use the holster with both my 7d and 5d3 with 17-40, 70-200, 24-105 with no issues. Excellent quality and very convenient. Love it for international street travel, as it adds additional security while on the streets.

Q: 5. will this fit a Nikon D810 + L Bracket (small lens) ?

A: With an L-Bracket on it would fit but it would be an extremely right fit because bracket would make it very difficult to get out. If anything, I would recommend going to a bag that has a bit more internal room.

A: Diameter of the pop down section is about 4.5" and it extends down about 4.5".

A: For the D800 with a battery grip and the 70-200mm f/2.8, you would need to go with the Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 40 V2.0 (B&H # THDH40). The 20 wont accommodate the grip.

A: It fits, I use my Think Tank Digital Holster 20 V2.0 with an Oly OMD-EM1 Mk 2, 12-100mm and battery holder; it's tight but works well. It will loosen up a bit with time.

A: I've been using it with Sony A7Rii and Sony 24-70 and 16-35 lenses. I haven't tried it with the 24-240 lens yet but think that it would fit, especially if one open the bottom extension. I don't have Canon 70-300 and so can't comment. However, you should be able to determine by taking dimensions of your system and comparing it with the holster, with and without the bottom extension opened.
