The OP/TECH USA Uni Loop XL's extra-long size provides increased flexibility while shooting with interchangeable strap systems. The System Connectors afford photographers a little extra slack when they need a more room to handle gear. While using them with the popular OP/TECH USA Utility Sling or Double Sling harness, it functions as a short tether between the camera and the connection point to the sling or harness.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are these OK to attach to the strap eyelets of a Sigma 120-300 f2.8 Sports lens?

A: The OP/TECH USA System Connectors 3/8"-XL (Set of Two) is ok to attach to the 120-300mm F2.8 DG OS HSM's strap eyelets.

Q: 2. Will this work with a CANON 5D Mark IV?

A: Hi David! Yes, this strap will be great for your Canon 5D Mark 1V. It will leave only the short Uni Loops on your camera when you remove the main strap to do tripod work. It has the internal control stretch system to help support the weight of your camera and lens combination so that it will be comfortable for long photo shoots. Enjoy!

Q: 3. Will this strap attach to a Sony FE 200-600 zoom lens?

A: Yes, but we usually suggest the following models as they support more of a payload OP/TECH USA Envy Strap (Black) BH #OPESB • MFR #3801332 https://bhpho.to/3Wt4DDj

Q: 4. Will this work with a Nikon D7500?

A: Yes, the Super Classic Uni Loop will work with your D7500. If the connection area is tight, you may need to use a piece of heavy thread or dental floss to pull the Uni Loop through the connection point rather than trying to push it through.

Q: 5. Does the strap length listed (36.0 to 43.0") include the length of the connectors or will those add extra length?

A: The length is listed including the Uni Loop QD Connectors.

Q: 6. What is the difference between this and pro loop connector OPSCPLXL, apart from this one having an extra connection?

A: The OP/TECH USA Uni Adaptor Loop - X-Long (2-Pack, Black), B&H # OPSCUALXL, include a set of Extensions plus a set of Uni Loops for a total of four pieces while the OP/TECH USA Pro Loop System Connector (Extra Large, Set of Two), B&H # OPSCPLXL, include two pieces. If you remove the strap pad, the Pro Loop Connectors will attach to each other to form a short hand strap. With the Uni Adaptor Loops, you can remove the strap pad and use one or both of the Extensions between the Uni Loops to form a short or slightly longer hand strap. With the Uni Adaptor Loops, if you want to remove most of the strap, you can leave just the short Uni Loop Connectors on your camera while the Pro Loop connectors would leave the longer pieces on your camera.

Q: 7. Can you use this as a shoulder strap?

A: I can use it as a shoulder strap butI was surprised that there isn't much length to play with. I am 5'6 and weigh 145lbs. So I'm fairly small framed. I can put it over my head so it goes across my body and swivel it from front to back with it adjusted to full length.

Q: 8. how wide is the webbing on uni-adapter loop set ?

A: Two centimeters wide, or three-quarters of an inch.

Q: 9. I'm looking for Op Tech connectors for my Nikon D4s, which connectors are stong enough to hold a D4s with a 24-70 2.8 lens?

A: Yes, the straps are strong enough for the 24-70 lens and more. I use them as safety straps on my 400 and 600 4.0.

Q: 10. Is this more comfortable than their Envy strap? I will use it around the neck

A: Yes, this neoprene strap is more comfortable than the Envy strap.

These are part of a huge system that allow more carrying configurations than I can wave a stick at - neckstraps, shoulder straps, wide straps, narrow straps, double slings, even backpack shoulder straps. Just disconnect the Uni-Loop from one strap and click it into another. I use extensions with the Regular Uni-Loops to position a camera on my tummy or hang it from my shoulder. The Long Uni-Loops (without extensions) position it high on my chest. I use three cameras in event work and have UniLoops permanently affixed to all my cameras so they can be quickly attached wherever I need them.

I love the lack of metal bits that could scratch my gear in a bag and the versatility of the OpTech/USA system. It's really reliable, too. I've never had a buckle let go, and some of my OpTech/USA stuff is 30 years old and still going strong.

I like the short connectors and keep them plugged into each other when not connected to a strap. I can even carry the camera with them that way. The 'normal' size ones won't self connect on my Nikon D3 but these XL ones do.

Have attached the loops as extra security in the event my prime telephoto lens happens to detach from my shoulder strap whilst scrambling through the Aussie bush.
Ideal for this application as I can keep both eyes on the wildlife, confident my camera gear stays with me ready for use at all times.

I’ve been using these products since the Nikon D1. They are uniformly satisfactory, comfortable and secure.

All of OP/TECH USA's stuff is very, very well made, and I've never even heard of someone losing gear to a broken piece of their stuff. These slightly longer loops gave me the exact extra reach I needed without having to add straps, or make all sorts of crazy adjustments.

Overall excellent products.

Uni-loop connectors allow me to change straps and harness among multiple cameras. Got a new camera, so these connectors allow me to use the strap and harness I already have.

Have a feeling these straps will out last the camera.

I'm using the uni-loop as an extra security attachment point for my Black Rapid strap. Easy to attach and doesn't add a lot of bulk to the setup.
