A: SmallRig states that the SmallRig HawkLock H21 Quick Release Rosette Magic Arm (11") mounts are NATO mounts and should mount onto NATO rails; however the HawkLock system is designed for optimum use with other HawkLock accessories.

A: Unfortunately iFootage does not have a crab arm that fits onto a baby pin.

Q: 8. Its not clear to me from the photos and discription can you have threads on both ends. I would not use a hot shoe to mount anything. 3/8 on one end to 1/4 20 on the other is perfect?

A: The iFootage LT2-3.5 Spider Crab Magic Arm (5.5") provides a 1/4"-20 male screw on one end and a 1/4"-20 female thread under the male shoe on the other end.

Q: 9. Can the cold shoe attachment be replaced by a 1/4 20 male thread?

A: As illustrated by photo #4 from the top of the product images, the cold shoe may be removed, but there is a little 1/4 20" stud on that end, not a threaded hole.
