The brown Kopul Premium Performance 3000 Series XLR Male to XLR Female Microphone Cable (100') is designed to be an extremely quiet and flexible cable that is ideal for the most demanding live sound and performance applications. The cable is engineered to be durable and provide protection against EMI, RFI, and static noise. While the cable's color-coding affords the ability to quickly differentiate between multiple connections onstage, it provides a pleasant aesthetic quality at the same time.
Premium Performance 3000 Series cables are made from 24-AWG OFC copper wire that's wrapped with PE insulation and a conductive PVC inner shield. A cotton-yarn inner layer helps reduce electrostatic and microphonic noise. The 95% dual-spiral shielding makes the cable resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Neutrik XX silver connectors provide a high level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are shrink-wrapped for protection.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. If I combine two mics and plug into a tascam recorder single port, will I still be able to deliver phantom power to the two mic?
A: Connecting two condenser microphones to one mic preamp with the Kopul XLR Y Cable is not recommended. It may work, but it may also result in undervolting the mics, which will lead to undesirable results.
Q: 2. I read a review of a similar adapter from Rode that says that it doesn't work with 1/8 TS cables. So, will this Kopul adapter work with a mono lav mic with 1/8 TS cable?
A: No. Neither works. They are both for STEREO 1/8 plugs into a MONO XLR jack. Period. (They will work if you only insert the mic plug halfway into the female 1/8 jack. No one in their right mind would try to use that fragile configuration. Get an XLR mic!
Q: 3. Will this work to plug Deity connect W-lav pro and W-lav micro lavalier mics into XLR plugs on a Tascam DR-40 linear pcm recorder and a Motu M2 and will I need to use these two devices with or without Phantom power?
A: No, the Kopul A-XMMF is not compatible. It is intended for use with microphones that have a 3.5mm connector and does not convert phantom power to plug-in power. The Deity W.Lav Pro and W.Lav Micro use a MicroDot connector. You can use the DPA Microphones DAD6001 MicroDot to 3-pin XLR Adapter (B&H# DPDAD6001BC) which has the correct connectors you need and will convert phantom power to plug-in power for the Deity W.Lav Pro and Micro lavalier mics.
Q: 4. Will this work to get a Sennheiser lav ew 122 or ME 2-II wired?
A: No, the adapter you need is the Rode VXLR+ 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter with Phantom Power Converter (B&H # ROVXLRP). This adapter will convert the 3.5mm plug to XLR and also allow converts phantom power (typically 48V) from a mixer or recorder to plug-in power (approximately 3 to 5V) which the lav mic needs to operate. The Kopul adapter only converts the plug to XLR but will not convert phantom power to plug-in power.
Q: 5. can you send me a sketch on how I can connect an XLR male mic cable to xlr male mic cable?
A: Switchcraft XLR 3 Pin Female To XLR 3 Pin Female B&H # SW389
Q: 6. How does one handle phantom power when splitting the signal into 2 inputs? Would you enable phantom power on both inputs or just one of the two to power a Sennheiser MKH 50? I would like to feed my boom dialog mic into 2 inputs on a Zoom H6, and run one input hot and the other about 10 db less for safety. I know the Zoom offers a back up file record, but it is only on the non phantom powered inputs.
A: As long as the mic gets phantom power it will be powered, functional & able to send signal to whereever you route it. Therefore you only need to power it from ONE channel. There is No need to send phantom on both channels.
Q: 7. Does this work with the DJI Wireless mic system?
A: Yes, the Kopul A-XMMF 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter could be used with the DJI Mic wireless system as long as the receiver's output is set to mono.
Q: 8. Will this work with the microphone cable from the Nady QHM-100 Closed-Back Stereo Headphones with Boom Mic? I'm looking at using it for the BMD ATEM Talkback Converter.
A: Unfortunately the Nady QHM-100 will not operate when connected via an adapter to an XLR input. The mic requires power only able to be provided by a 3.5mm jack. You are able to connect a standard broadcast headset that features a dynamic mic which does not require power via the XLR jack. The Audio Technica BPHS-1 is currently the best we have to offer in terms of price and correct connections (XLR for mic, and 1/4 TRS headphone).
Q: 9. Will this work to connect a Sennheiser G4 lav mic to the XLR input of the FX6?
A: The Kopul A-XMMF 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter (B&H# KOAXMMF) could be used to connect the XLR inputs of the Sony FX6 Full-Frame Cinema Camera (Body Only) (B&H# SOFX6) to a 3.5mm male lead coming from a microphone level input such as that coming from the receiver of the Sennheiser EW 112P G4 Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System (A: 516 to 558 MHz) (B&H # SEEW112PG4A) if it is connected with a male to male 3.5mm TRS cable.
Q: 10. Will NA3FDM fit Audio-Technica AT8646QM Microphone Shock-mount Plate?
A: The Neutrik NA3FDM should fit into the Audio-Technica AT8646QM shock mount plate, but the original connector on the plate is much different from the NA3FDM. Just be aware of the extra clearance needed behind the plate to accommodate the barrel of the male connector on the back.
