Q: 5. Would this be ok to fly with?

A: I wouldn't fly with it, IMO it's not suitable for flying, only driving (hence the name). I suppose you could fly with it but it wouldn't hold up very long and I'd be concerned about the gear.

A: I contacted the manufacturer concerning your inquiry. According to ARRI, yes, when using the the ARRI Dual Battery Plate for SkyPanel S30 and S60 LED Soft Lights (V-Mount), B&H # ARBPVMSP, you will be able to maintain the same 100% full output on the S30-C with the battery as you would with the AC power supply. ARRI states that one of the best battery solutions on the market for the Sky Panel are from the company Blue Shape.

Q: 8. I see people are using this with vortex 8, do you need to remove the yoke for it to fit?

A: If you are referring to the Creamsource Vortex8 2x1 RGBW LED Light, then yes, you would need to remove the yoke on the Creamsource Vortex8 2x1 RGBW LED Light Fixture in order to fit it inside the Tenba Car Case for ARRI S60 SkyPanel. The width of the Creamsource Vortex8 2x1 RGBW LED Light without the yoke is 27.2 inches (690mm), while the width with the yoke is 32.7 inches (831mm). The interior of the Tenba Car Case for ARRI S60 SkyPanel is only 31.9 inches (810mm) wide, so the yoke would need to be removed to fit the fixture inside the case.

Brand vs. brand, dollar for dollar or ounce for ounce...you simply cannot purchase a better binocular for CLOSE FOCUS. Period.

These are great for getting close up views on things close to you. With the 1.5 foot close focus you can see detailed views of objects as if using a magnifying glass at close range.

Pro's Physical: Small, compact, lite, and comfortable to hold. No more losing the Lens covers, they are connected together and can be attached to strap. Technical: Versatile enough to jump from butterfly to bird watching. Powerful and clear image at 18 inches or 100 feet. Unlike other small binoculars, they have a strap that connects on both side of the device so you can hang it around your neck. Last pair only had wrist strap. Cost: B&H cannot be beat! Price was best on web when purchased. Following week BH dropped price, when I asked for it they credited my card the difference.

Merges images even at closest focus. Most useful for insects and other small creatures, flowers, and flower parts. No negatives whatsoever.

I've purchase 3-4 of these. I kept an 8.5x pair and given multiple 6.5x's for gifts. Not the best for low light viewing, but with 21mm objectives, that's to be expected. Views are stunning during the day. Perfect for around the house/garden as grab and go. Small size makes them easy to carry for hikes and fit easily in glove compartment. Close focus opens up another world of insects, plants etc.

These are great little binoculars specialising in close-up views (500mm/1.6ft) or even closer depending on your eyes. They are terrific in that application and OK (though only OK) for longer-distance use as general-purpose binoculars. They're great for butterflies (hence the name), other insects and bugs, flowers and, generally, close inspection of anything you'd like to see magnified close-up. They are light in weight, inexpensive, convenient to carry and quite well-built within the strictures of their mostly-plastic construction. 5 stars for their unique special purpose, adequacy for general use and overall value for money.
