Metabones adapter works great for canon lenses that I had previously. Definitely worth the money with the AF feature. There are some limitations with what focus settings can be used but it works well with what it has. The AF feature is pretty quick although there are times when the camera gets confused but nothing that isn't resolvable quickly. The limitations are expected with being an adapter but overall am happy with the purchase.

Earlier this year I purchased a Fotodiox - Canon to Sony adapter and was very disappointed with the performance. My camera would search for focus often, and even worse sometimes I would loose communication between camera and lens. I ended up selling that adapter and getting this one. This adapter is so much more reliable. It's been a few months and I've never lost communication between camera and lens. Additionally it doesn't search for focus constantly like the other adapter. If you have or plan on using Canon lenses for you Sony body this is your best and most reliable choice. Don't make the same mistake I did and do it right the first time.

I bought the Metabones to use my Canon lenses (24-105 f4, 70-200 f2.8 and Tokina 11-16 f2.8) on my Sony a6300. So far it has worked great! I film road cycling and mountain biking and have never had any sort of problems with the lenses or camera connecting to the adapter. I've also shot in plenty of rainy/muddy conditions and have never had any weather sealing issues, but it's still a little early to say if this will hold. I can definitely recommend the adapter. Obviously if you need autofocus then you're looking in the wrong place.

This adapter makes your full-frame Canon lenses work flawlessly with your full-frame Sony E-mount camera, with all the auto focus, zoom, and aperture control a Canon camera body would provide. It is pricey for what it does, but does its job extremely well. I needed to upgrade the firmware (yes, a lens adapter has firmware!) in order to get the autofocus to work with my Sigma 180mm macro lens. The firmware on the Metabones website only indicates support for the Mark IV adapter in the readme file, but the latest upgrade (V0.56) will also work on the newer Mark V with no issues. I strongly recommend upgrading when you pull this one out of the box. Upgrading is accomplished through an app available on their site running on a PC or Mac connected to the micro USB port on the adapter.

Tuve serias dudas en la compra de este adaptador, el cual planee usar en mi c�mara a7r III con lentes Canon (85 1.2, 24-105, 70-200 e incluso un 10-22 EF-S). mi grata sorpresa fue que funcion� casi a la perfecci�n con todos los lentes superando por mucho mis expectativas. solo con el 70-200 tuve problemas de enfoque en 200mm pero bajando un poco no hubo problemas. El 85 1.2 aparece en la pantalla como 1.3 sin embargo es alg�n tema propio del adaptador pero seg�n varias lecturas si aplica el 1.2 (modo verde), en el modo avanzado s� muestra el 1.2 pero no me convence ese modo. Recomiendo este adaptador.
