A: Hi, as previously mentioned there is no mic or mic cable with the invisilav. The invisilav is just the rubber mount which you can use with a variety of lavalier mics, including the RDE smartLav+ if you wish to connect direct to an iPhone.

A: You would need an articulating extension such as the Matthews Magic Riser to be able to position the camera offset from the cheese plate. You might also need a couple more rods to be able to triangulate the mount. There are some good demo videos online from Matthews you can watch.
