I use it on a Panasonic GF1 and can get some amazing shots. The manual focus isn't too bad to deal with since the depth-of-field is so shallow. The camera has to be set to 'shoot without a lens' then it's ready to go. I'm really enjoy extreme wide angle lenses and this is just what the GF1 needed. 5

This is an offbeat specialty lens for visual change-of-pace, particularly for landscapes, interiors (with adequate flash support), city skyscraper scenes, and fairs/carnivals. It is much more verssatile than a circular fisheye. It is not AF but DOF is from a foot or two to infinity once lens is stopped down a bit and scale-focused or set to hyperfocal distance(for those old enough to remember how to do this). Images can be de-fisheyed in post-processing so lens can also serve as a super WA. Protruding front element is tough to clean due to the fixed attached petal-type hood, so keep the cap on when lens is not in use. A fun lens at a reasonable price. 5

Previously had the 7artisans, which was quite decent (especially for the price). However, it had some infinity focus issues I never was able to correct, and a fair bit of play in the mount. I returned it and ordered the Rokinon, and happy I spent the extra money. Both are very sharp, but the Rokinon has a much nicer build quality, and a significantly wider FOV and fisheye effect (which I was looking for). Smallery and lighter, too! 5
