The 2.6" Square Lug Replacement Quick Release Clamp for Select KES Products from Kirk Enterprises is Arca-type compatible for compatibility with most plates on the market, and it has a 1/4"-20 mounting stud that mounts through the top of the clamp's female threads. The square lug located at the bottom of the clamp is compatible with the FR-2 Focusing Rail, the SRS-7 Slide Rail System, the MPA-2 Head, the QR-AB1 Universal Quick Release Adapter, and more.

The clamp is made of 6061-T6 aluminum with a silver and black anodized finish. This 2.6" quick-release receiver features an extended locking knob with a large, knurled design. The longer knob length makes it easier to use with larger cameras or camera rigs. Laser-engraved lines on the back of the clamp help to align the camera and sensor, and the clamp has a built-in hex wrench slide-in storage system.

NOTE: This clamp does not include a quick-release plate.

Q: 1. Has anyone mounted this plate on a Giottos MH 1300? There is a small notch on the bottom side of their plate to prevent spin and Im wondering if this has one too.

A: Chris I not mounted this plate on a Giottos MH 1300, I use a 3D camera. This camera is a Matterport Pro 3D.good luck

Q: 2. Does the 2.6 Kirk Quick Release Clamp use a 6mm flat head screw or a 1/4 flat head screw? My question is because the 3/8 to 1/4 adapter is standard, but the 3/8 to 6mm adapter needs to be custom-made

A: It comes with one of each, so you don't need to custom make anything.

Q: 3. Will this adapt to a Manfrotto 410 head/plate?

Q: 7. What is the purpose of the little hole next to the mounting hole?

A: its a anti-rotation Pin drop.

Q: 8. Will this work with the Manfrotto 502AH Pro Video Head with Flat Base, will the adjusting nob on the clamp have enough clearance from the flat base on the video head for proper operation?

A: The Kirk QRC-4.2 Arca-Type 4.2" Quick Release Clamp with Classic Locking Knob won't allow you to move the knob as it will hit the top of the Manfrotto 502AH Pro Video Head with Flat Base. Because you're using this large video head, you would need the Kirk 4.2" Quick Release Clamp with Extended Knob (https://bhpho.to/3QXSKT2).

Q: 9. The adapter relies on 1/4-20 studs (from below on the original mounting plate, and from the top on the arca swiss block) to hold the entire assembly...what are the weight/torque limits on this kind of set up? How much should one trust a single 1/4-20 stud to hold big glass?

A: I would say that if you feel that way, you should trust your expensive glass to double 1/4" or single 3/8".

Q: 10. What is the spacing of the mounting holes?

A: QRC-4.2 Arca-Type Quick Release Clamp What is the spacing of the mounting holes?4mm - 4mm - 10mm - Center - 10mm - 4mm - 4mm
