A: This converter is a single input device. Multiple inputs are present for signals that may need multiple connections to function.

A: I have not tried this, but the adapter does not come with a SFP module so it would be worth a try. They recommend SMF because it loses less than MMF. I used 10Gtek 10G-SFP-LR modules and they work great. Blackmagic says it works with any SFP modules so I imagine it will work with MMF but no guarantees.
