A: I think it would work but the fresnel beam would only cover 50% of the pancake. A bare bulb works better. I have a bi-color LED strip wrapped around a tube.

A: I dont know.

Q: 7. can i use this with 500 watts bare bulbs in standard socket?

A: Yes, you can. You will probably need to adapt to a standard medium base bulb, as the pancakes are mogul based. Adapter is easy to find an inexpensive.

Q: 8. Hi, I"m getting confused about which Triolet speed ring to get for the Chimera pancake lantern (BH #CHLPLBSM • MFR #1865). Is it this one ? (BH #CHT2POP • MFR #9950OP). The pancake seems to have 4 pins - but these are "Octo" speed rings. Thanks

A: You can still use the Chimera Triolet Flood Light with Octaplus Speed Ring (120 VAC), B&H # CHT2POP in 4 rod points only with this Lantern.

Q: 9. which lights fixtures does this fit? is there a certain size fixture diameter?

A: Many lights can fit on to the Pancake Lantern Softbox. All that is needed is the correct speedring if one is available.The softbox in general is a regular 4 pole softbox. If you do have a specific light in mind it is best you contact us direct via chat or phone.

I really struggled with the decision to purchase the X-10. After my first shoot with it, I had no doubts it was the right decision. It is much less expensive than other competing stabilizers, it is very well built, not flimsy in any way. I like how adjustable it is and that I can use it with or without a monitor in the base, something not found on more expensive choices. It took me a few hours to get comfortable using it, and with just that little amount of practice I was able to produce extremely professional looking video for my client. 5

I make instructional video for the fire department and this vest system has been a great purchase. It works good and is a quality piece of equipment. It is one of my go to tools for great smooth shots. I guess i can't think af anything bad to say about the X-10 arm and vest. for the money, it exceeds my expectations considering that a pro steady cam rig costs 10 times as much. I am very happy. 5
