Q: 7. I have a similar Shape handle on an FS5 but am possibly upgrading to a c500. can I purchase and swap out just the hardware on my existing handle attachment end to accommodate the c500? handle?

A: This product is compatible with the Canon EOS 500 Mark II, we are not aware of how it would work with an FS5.

Q: 8. Is the sony handle side also rosetted?

A: No, and this is definitely a negative on this item. To use this extension you have to mount a connector to the camera. This connector has to be removed with a screw driver if you want to mount the sony handle right back on the camera. So you can't go quickly from sony to extension and back without tools.

Q: 9. Could you make it lift handed as well?

A: It cannot. This is for the right side of the camera only.

Q: 10. Is it possible to use this as a left arm instead of on the right side?
