Capture stunning cinematic images with a vintage anamorphic look using this PAVO 180mm T2.8 2x Anamorphic Prime Lens from DZOFilm. Designed to cover Super35 sensors of cine-style cameras, this lens has a maximum aperture of T2.8 and employs 2x magnification, thus achieving what is commonly referred to as “true” anamorphic imaging with a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and boasting exceptional “waterfall” bokeh and evenly layered, horizontal blue flares.

The telephoto 180mm lens is a longer focal length that produces a shallower depth of field, compressing environmental space and isolating characters against a creamy background. The PAVO’s PL mount can quickly be switched to an EF mount using the included EF bayonet. Focus marks are defined in feet, and the compact size and lightweight design of the lens make it an ideal option for cameras mounted on drones, mechanical and electronic stabilizers, and in handheld situations where keeping weight to a minimum is critical.

The Canon extender performs better than any other I have used. It is specially designed for Canon long lenses. At certain focal distances you have to manually focus but that is no problem if you have adjusted the diopeter on your viewfinder for your eyes. You can also use live view.

Ttwo reasons why I elected to buy this extender: Price and weight

I have been considering a doubler fr some time. And upon unpacking it I was not dissappointed. The.quality and workmanship are excellent. The price was more than the aftermarket doubters, but over the years I have found that you get what you pay for. So I don't cut corners. The picture quality through my EE 100-400mm f/.5-5.6 L IS UMS lens is more than I had hoped for.

I just got a new Canon do f4 400mm II lens. Both the Canon 1.4x III and the 2.0x III work well with this new lens. Also, my Canon 100-400 II lens will work with the 2.0x III if you use the live action part of my Canon 5Dsr camera.

I was worried about buying this extender because of all the bad reviews with regards to image quality with the use of extenders. However linked with my Canon 7D Mark II and the Canon 70 200 Mark II lens this extender gives great image quality. Had a chance to use the combination for photographing a friends childs soccer game. Images were fantastic.

I contemplated for awhile on the 1.4 or 2x. I am so happy I choose the 2x. The IQ is so good. All of my tests proved that the 2x iii and my 70-200L f2.8 iii are a perfect combination. Can't wait to use it at my Grandsons baseball & Tennis games.
