A counterfeit charger and battery had come with my Canon 7D I had bought from an online auction. The camera would not recognize the battery at all after one use and recharge. I nearly sent the camera to Canon (who encouraged me to send the camera in to their service center to find the problem.) I saved myself a lot of money and time by first ordering genuine Canon replacement battery charger and batteries from B&H Photo online. Now the camera works just fine! My only suggestion to B&H would be to add the other cameras which are compatible with this charger - currently their online description of the product only lists EOS 5D V-II. I nearly went to another site searching for the proper replacement batteries and charger for my Canon 7D, but fortunately called B&H and they assured me it worked for other models as well. I would recommend they amend the website so they don't lose more potential customers.There are many counterfeits out there, claiming to work with Canon equipment or even claiming to be Canon products. I encourage you to buy genuine OEM parts and only from a reputable photo supply company. Thank you! Terri Aigner 5

Having a second charger to go with the one provided with the Canon EOS 7D body is a great way to charge 2 batteries at the same time. It is particularly useful with the two-battery optional battery grip. 5

Although there are some slightly cheaper chargers for the 5dMKII battery out there it is my opinion that this one is superior. I have had an issue with another manufactures charger and the LC-E6 battery charger always charges my batteries quickly and fully. 5

I lost my original 5DmII battery charger at a wedding and made the unfortunate decision to purchase an off-brand replacement. Big mistake! Original Canon is the only way to go for solid reliability. 5
