With a short battery life in the Sony E mount cameras and a long recharging time you need to be charging two batteries at a time to keep up. Those dual battery chargers you often find will only charge one battery at a time, not simultaneously. I like the status indicator in the unit. It also plugs directly into the wall socket, no separate cord to lose or misplace. 5

Great charger. In my option much better than the charger most Sony mirrorless cameras come with for two reasons. 1. The compact size takes up less outlet space, and 2. The charge indicator is very useful. 5
