I have been tasked with taking pictured at my sons u8 baseball teams. This lens is fast to focus, ensuring that I get clear shots most of the time. The vibration reduction makes my pictures look far steadier than my hands actually are. I'm still a novice photographer, and bought this lens based on the recommendation of a friend that is far more advanced. I'm looking forward to learning more and growing into this lens! 5

This is the first lens that I have bough for my digital SLR, and it may be the last. It does everything that I need it to do. It is sharp, finds focus well if I need to set it to auto, and is durable thus far. The zoom is nice but I just move myself if I need to get closer. 5

At the hospital when my first daughter was born they put her far away from the window at the nursery. All my friends and family were jealous when I put this lens on and had super Sharp pictures from so far away. Some of them even took pictures of my pics on the lcd screen on my camera. I shoot a Nikon D5100 and it works well even though it is not a DX lens 5

For my Grandson's baseball day and night games. My first VR lens and I am very satisfied with the lens performance for the price I paid. Focus is quick and VR is truly more than I expected. @300mm care when focussing and a smaller aperture is needed. 5
