Bring two DSLRs with attached lenses, two to four extra lenses, related accessories, and an up to 17" laptop and 10" tablet on your next plane trip with the black Airport Security V3.0 Carry On from Think Tank. This sturdy rolling case is designed to meet most USA domestic and most international airline carry-on requirements. Of course, it's always prudent to check with your carrier prior to departure. Interior padded, touch-fastening dividers are useful for protecting and organizing gear. The front of the case has an expandable dedicated laptop and tablet compartment with an organizer panel and zip pocket. And located underneath the lid are a variety of zippered accessory pockets. For easy access, the spacious main compartment unzips on three sides. One great feature is the stretchable front pocket that serves as a catchall for magazines, small reflectors, and more.

The Airport Security V3.0 has TSA-approved zipper locks for the main compartment and a high-strength coated cable and combination lock for the laptop and for securing the case to an immovable object. Store your water bottle and tripod in the convenient side pockets. Additional tripod straps are included. A retractable trolley handle, in conjunction with two 80mm, ABEC, grade 5 ball bearing wheels, makes travel over flat ground easy. Grab handles on three sides are for lifting the Airport Advantage in and out of vehicles and overhead bins. An included rain cover with a storage pouch helps protect the case from dirt and inclement weather. Quality materials such as water-repellent 1680D ballistic nylon, closed-cell foam padding, tall skid plates, and reinforced PE board dividers offer strength and durability. Photographers will appreciate the handsome business card holder located on top.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this bag thick enough to fit a Nikon 70-200mm 2.8 vertically?

A: I have the Nikon 70-200 Version 2 and it does NOT fit vertically in this bag. The length with the front and rear lens caps measures approx. 9 long. The depth of the bag is about 8 . I store it horizontally. There's plenty of room in this bag for lots of lenses and bodies. I generally carry at least 2 bodies, a 600mm without the hood(I use a collapsible hood), 200-500, 24-120, 300, flash and other assorted equipment.

Q: 2. would a broken down canon c200 fit in this?

A: Broken down gear will fit the same as gear in good condition!

Q: 3. Would a sony 600mm F4 and a 400mm 2.8 fit in this bag?

A: No, the Think Tank Photo Airport Security V3.0 Carry On will not be able to accommodate Sony FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS Lens (B&H # SO6004GM) and/or the Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens (B&H # SO40028GM).

Q: 4. is it can put canon 600mm 4F lll and 300mm f 2.8 11 together?

A: Yes, they can fit together. Probably best to place one facing up and the other facing down.

Q: 5. What is the difference between the international and domestic versions?

A: The dimensions of the international case is slightly smaller (14 x 21 x 8 / 35.6 x 53.3 x 20.3 cm) when compared to the dimensions of the domestic case (14 x 22 x 9 / 35.6 x 55.9 x 22.9 cm). However, as stated under the Overview for the item, it's always prudent to check with your carrier prior to departure, as some airlines have stricter carry-on case restrictions than others (there is no one standard, though the accepted standard in the USA is for the case to typically be under 45 linear inches).

Q: 6. Apple no longer makes the 15 inch Macbook Pro. WIll this case hold the 16 inch version of the Macbook Pro?

A: The main difference between the 15" MBP and 16" MBPs have typically been the screen size (with a thinner bezel) and the main chassis has not increased in size by much. From my understanding and from comparing sizes of the Macbook Pros online, I do not see and problems with it fitting. Dimensions for your consideration: 15" MBP 2019: Height: 0.61"/1.55cm, Width: 13.75"/34.93cm, Depth: 9.48"/24.07cm 16" MBP 2020: Height: 0.64"/1.62cm, Width: 14.09"/35.79cm, Depth: 9.68"/24.59cm

Q: 7. does it take a professional DSLR?

A: Yes! I put two Nikon D4's and a D200 with grip in the bag. It is very deep. In addition I have the Nikon Holy Trinity of lenses in the bag with two of the lenses attached to the bodies and the the third detached. This bag holds a ton of gear.

Q: 8. How is the stability of this case on 2 wheels vs the 4 wheel version? Concerned it may tip over easily when standing up like my other 2 wheeled luggage.

A: This bag is very good and does not typically tip over.

Q: 9. Can a ad300 pro fit vertically

A: Yes, the Godox AD300 does fit vertically in the Think Tank Airport Security v3.0

Q: 10. How solid is this thing? If you ended up having to check it at an airport gate can it handle a beating and being tossed around by airport personnel if that ended up happening?

A: It's a pretty solid bag, reasonable well made. If you had it full of camera equipment, you wouldn't want to part with it. The kit wouldn't handle the potential treatment plus neither the airline or any insurer would cover you in that scenario. It easily fits in the overhead of all 737/767 size aircraft, and under the seat in most puddle jumper type Bombardier planes.

It's hard to find a bag that can conveniently fit a lot of equipment, is flexible in how you set it up, and provides enough padding and support to make you confident it'll protect your gear. I'm glad I purchased this one because it fits the bill on all fronts. Great bag!

It is a very well-made bag. I have a Nikon Z-9 and a Z6ii with a 24-70 2.8z and and 24-120 z and a 70-200mm 2.8 FL they all fit very nicely with 4 Godox AD100 and 2 flashes! It feels sturdy, rolls nicely, and is not too heavy. Would definitely buy it again!

I have tried other bags but came back to Think Tank after the backorder crisis. This bag fits all my gear I use for weddings. The deep pockets give me the flexibility to stack things as well. Don't think about any more. Just Think TANK!

This is my second one. The first one (series 2.0 ) is 9-10 years old. This one holds a Nikon Z8, plus 100-400mm, 24-70 mm 2.8, 20mm S, 28mm 1.4, 58mm AFS, FTZ, batteries, cards with room to spare. The older one holds a mix of lenses and a Z7 II, xtra gizmos etc. There is a fair amount of room for filters, caps, flash triggers. Think Tank customer service is great. Their accessories work well.

Bought this for my underwater camera gear and it is terrific. Holds, housing, dome port, 2 strobes, camera, 3 lenses, arms and diffusers without problem, AND it's flight legal.
Excellent quality as well. Great purchase for underwater photographers.

When making decisions on gear i usually have buyers remorse when you already know photography equipment is expensive. And for this purchase I was nervous because I didn't get a chance to actually see the bag physically before I bought it. When it arrived I was more than satisfied with the size, shape, feel and usability of this bag. The deep pockets keep my lenses secure. My pro bodies fit nicely and there's more than enough room for more stuff I haven't considered purchasing yet. I won't have to get another bag. If I do, I will be getting another Think Tank rolling bag. It has everything I could ever need.
