These cases are just the right size. Adjustable foam dividers offer flexibility. The case is solid and the latches seem to be very strong.

I recently purchased the Pelican Vault V550 case for photo and video equipment and I'm glad I did. Pelican has always made great products and the Vault series is no exception. I already have a smaller version of this case for astronomy equipment like eyepieces, Telrad, etc.

The main points I like:
- The cushioned dividers that you can arrange as you need. Instead of pluck foam, it's clean and variable in arrangement. This case has a good amount of depth and can hold a lot of items. Because of the matrix of dividers, you don't have to fill the case to have items secured. They are contained in their smaller space.
- The push-button unlocking mechanism is really great. It takes no effort to open, has an absolute positive lock and also won't open by mistake. I have an older case from another manufacturer that is rugged, but has the knuckle-buster type of latches. You have to use a lot of force to open or close them. Not great if you don't want to damage your hands.
- The handle is curved and wide to fit hands properly and snaps down flat with the case so it's not sticking out in storage or packing a vehicle and getting in the way.
- The case itself is heavy-duty and should withstand any abuse.

I have the roller luggage set but sometimes found I needed more room in the carry-on. The Navigator carry-on is the perfect size when your trip is longer than a couple days, or you need to take a few extra things. The expansion for an extra 7L of space really makes a huge difference when you need extra space, and it still fits in overhead bins. There are a two features I wish it had that the roller classic carry-on has: 4 wheels and the folding compression panels. Other than that, I couldn't ask for a better carry-on!

I am something of a nerd regarding cases, so I appreciate some good luggage. This is a bit larger than I imagined, but the size is a plus. The interlocks in the latches are a nice touch. Amazing the velcro-like tabs on the dividers sound like ripping when pulled apart, yet the cloth contact areas remains pristine.

I purchased one of these for my job to keep the companies camera equipment organized and it's been perfect. So when it came time to purchase one for myself I immediately went for the same item. Not sure I'll take it out much since there aren't wheels, but it keeps my gear safe and organized at home.

I wanted a case that would allow me to fit my Z9 and majority of my lenses. It is the perfect depth for my needs. It's well built and inexpensive. And the latches are quiet for when I need to sneak out of an event.

Got this case as a solution for a few of my ring rigs. Built like a tank and the dividers seem to provide ample padding. I've also been using it to pack cameras and lenses. Solid and rugged case for sure!
