A: The Driverack PA2 is able to accommodate both powered and passive systems with amplifiers. The Mackie will connect via XLR cables. Passive Subs such as the CV218 will connect to an amplifier which in turn connects to this unit. Unfortunately there is no preset available for the Mackie speakers, however the unit can be tuned manually.

A: It has no power switch. Only by unplugging it. In my rack I had it connected to a Furman power conditioner with a master switch.

A: The dbx RTA-M microphone is not required and it is possible to use a different calibrated measurement microphone with the dbx DriveRack PA2 Complete Loudspeaker Management System. In the Wizard options menu, for the Mic Response setting, simply select the FLAT option when using a measurement microphone other than the dbx RTA-M. When the RTA-M is used and it is selected as the option for the Mic Response setting, the system's AutoEQ automatically compensates for the frequency response of the RTA-M mic to provide accurate results.
