A: As I had said in a previous answer: I feel no need to buy to 600. It is very heavy, eliminating any possibility of hand-held shots. I get good IQ with the 500 with 1.4x and 1.7x teleconverters. The cost of the 600 would be very extravagant when added to the cost of the 500.I went through this process in December of last year, I chose the 500 over the 600.

A: The USA lens would come with Nikon USAs warranty, which would be a 5-year warranty (first year international, remaining four years USA only). The Imported lens would come with a one-year warranty from B&H.
