Kodak Professional Tri-X 320 is an expired, high-speed, and panchromatic black and white negative film designed for use in a wide variety of shooting conditions. Characterized by its fine grain, high sharpness, and wide exposure latitude, this ISO 320/26° film also distinguishes itself with notably smooth tonal gradations and brilliant highlights. It is well suited for portraiture and excels when used with controlled interior lighting or flash illumination, as well as low-contrast outdoor light. Tri-X 320 has a 7 mil-thick ESTAR base, and it can be retouched on either the base or emulsion side of the film.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have my Mom's Kodak Brownie Bull's-Eye Camera. I was told by a camera store that this is what I need. Is this it?

A: Kodak Professional T-Max 100 Black and White Negative Film (620 Roll Film, Expired 11/2022) is the correct B&W film for the Kodak Brownie Bull's-Eye Camera.

Q: 2. does this film get exposed to the light when you open the box?

A: Yes the film can only be opened in complete darkness when loading it to its designated film holder to reduce the risk of fogging it.

Q: 3. How many photos can you take with this?

A: It depends on the format of the medium format camera being used, and on occasion the particular camera. 6x4.5mm = 16 shots (15 on some older models)6x6mm = 12 shots6x7mm = 10 shots

Q: 4. Should I expect this film to work well with an old Sears Tower 120 box camera? Just not sure this more modern color film is compatible with a 1950's or earlier box camera.

A: It should spool just fine into the Sears Box camera provided that it does use 120 format film.

Q: 5. Can you use this film for a Holga 120N camera?

A: Yes, works great in a Holga; the 400 speed is better for a variety of light conditions. 100 speed needs a lot more sun especially in the Holga.

Q: 6. When does this product expire? And is it good for landscapes?

A: B&H buys and sells film in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh film stock. All of our film is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase. This film will be great for landscapes.

Q: 7. Where can I get this film developed?

A: It depends on where you live. I live in Jacksonville, Fl and I can get this developed 2 different ways. I have a friend that lives in Gainesville that I give to him to get it developed for me. There is another place here in Jacksonville Beach that develops them but it's a little more pricy. If you don't live in either of these places, your best bet would be to look up places on the internet that develops 120 film in your area. Not many places develop these types of films these days. Hope this helps.

Q: 8. What is the expiration date for this 10 sheet set?

A: Hi, Any film that is more than 6 months from expiring is sold as new, if expiring in less than 6 months would be sold in a separate "outdated" film section on our site. Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory prior to you ordering to inspect the expiration dates of any film or photo sensitive products.

Q: 9. Will this film fit in a Kodak Trimprint 920 Instant Camera?

A: No, it will not. The Kodak Trimprint 920 Instant Camera used Kodak HS144 Instant Film which was discontinued back in 1985. We have no replacement film for use with the Kodak Trimprint 920 Instant Camera, and it is not compatible for use with the Kodak Professional Tri-X 320 Black and White Negative Film (4 x 5", 10 Sheets).

Q: 10. When is the expiration date of this film?

A: The expiration date can generally be from 6 months to 1 year from now.
