A versatile choice for photographers who favor sharp subjects with softly blurred backgrounds, the black, Nikon Z mount AstrHori 27mm F2.8 II Lens is a fixed aperture normal prime that's well suited for portraits. It also excels in low light, making it useful for night photography. Light and portable at 5.6 oz, it comes with a 52mm filter thread for additional light-shaping capability. The lens structure (6 elements in 5 groups with a special coating) reduces unwanted effects like ghosting and flare. Its dedicated manual focus is perfect for those learning the intricacies of camera settings and creative control. With a close focus of 9.8" and a large aperture, the lens is also well suited for detailed shots and creating beautiful bokeh, and is ideal for a range of scenes from food to streetscapes. The lens also has a quiet, internal-focusing mechanism and a build that prevents dust from entering the lens, while also preserving image quality.

This lens converted my XT5 into a great street camera. Ultra compact and portable while keeping the flexibility of changing lenses. I now take my XT5 everywhere. Next purchase is the fuji 18mm pancake lens.
