Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the width and thickness [in millimeters] of the shoulder straps on the Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 Backpack?

A: The Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 Backpack's strap's width is 75 mm and the thickness is 18 mm.

Q: 2. Will it accommodate the Fuji XF 150-600mm zoom lens with a camera attached?

A: The Domke Photo Backpack (Brown) is too small for the FUJIFILM XF 150-600mm f/5.6-8 R LM OIS WR Lens with a camera attached.

Q: 3. My 32L holds a 600mm. Will this new version 30L hold my Canon 600mm 4.0 III?

A: The Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 30L Backpack is not going to hold the Canon 600mm f4 III . The length of the bag pack would work, but the width of the separate sides is too narrow.

Q: 4. Will this hold an Olympuys EM1X, RRS L plate and mounted 150-400 mm lens? The length spec looks like it is OK but the depth seems 2-3 cm short. If not, is there any other alternative?

A: The EM1X would fit but adding the L plate might make it too large. I would recommend this Manfrotto instead: https://bhpho.to/3fIF4uq

Q: 5. will fit canon RF 400mm f2.8 attached/unattached to canon R5 with grip with lens hood in packed position?

A: The Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 is not large enough for the Canon 400mm f2.8 RF lens.

Q: 6. Will the Canon RF 100-500mm lens fit in this backpack?

A: Yes, the Domke Photo Backpack (Brown) has enough space to fit the Canon EOS RP Mirrorless Camera with the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM Lens connected. The camera and the lens attached are 10.5'' long; the backpack's internal dimensions are 10 x 13 x 5".

Q: 7. Will a Fuji XF 150-600mm zoom fit without a camera attached?

A: The Domke Photo Backpack (Brown) is large enough for the FUJIFILM XF 150-600mm f/5.6-8 R LM OIS WR Lens, but not much else will fit.

Q: 8. Carry-On Suitability?

A: The Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 Backpack is suitable to use as a carry-on as the dimensions are less than 22 x 14 x 9", the standard carry-on requirements.

Q: 9. Will this fit the Canon RF 600mm f4?

A: The Canon RF 600mm f/4 L IS USM Lens does fit into Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 Backpack (Black, 30L), though the diameter of the hood is a bit snug.

Q: 10. Would this fit under a coach International airplane seat?

A: The Domke Everyday Photo Backpack has exterior dimensions of 19x9x13 inches for a total of 41 linear inches. Most airlines have a maximum linear size up to 45 inches. But check with the carrier to be sure because each airline can have slightly different rules.

I love this bag. It is simple, but with a lot of thought and care put into the design. Also, the sage color is beautiful!
I don't particularly appreciate using carry-on suitcases. They are cumbersome and annoying. With the 30L Travel Backpack and a small duffel bag, I can get up to a week's worth of travel supplies (maybe more if tried). It works perfectly with the packing cubes.
I would make two changes: 1) Increase the size of the outer pocket a little, and 2) put stronger magnets into the external flap. The current outer pocket size works, and I can fit a lot of stuff in there, but just a little more room would be nice. The outer flap is OK to hold the external carry straps, but the magnets don't feel strong enough for me to trust keeping a sweatshirt or light jacket stashed in there.
Overall, a great backpack!

Hard to tell how it will hold up but so far the backpack seems good quality. I wish the front quick access pocket was deeper and the luggage pass was horizontal not vertical

I recently purchased the Peak Design Travel Backpack 30L, and it has exceeded all my expectations. This backpack is perfect for short trips and daily use, thanks to its expandable capacity from 27L to 33L. The weatherproof 100% recycled nylon canvas ensures durability and protection for my belongings. I love the large rear hatch that makes accessing my items effortless. The padded laptop and tablet sleeves offer excellent protection, and the expandable side pockets are incredibly convenient. The tuck-away shoulder straps are a thoughtful touch, making it versatile for different carrying styles. Plus, the compatibility with Peak Design Packing and Camera Cubes is a game-changer for organizing my gear. Knowing it's Fair Trade Certified and 100% carbon neutral makes me feel good about my purchase. This backpack comes with a lifetime guarantee, solidifying it as the best backpack I've ever owned. Highly recommended!

I bought this 3 weeks ago in person at the San Francisco store. It was my first time in San Francisco and I wore it all over town packed with lots of gear for more than 3 days. It’s very comfortable and feels very sturdy. I love the external carry straps, which I used to carry my winter coat and a thick hoodie since the inside was very full including my laptop. I actually like it they there are only two zippers, since I put a lock on both for worry free travel on public transit and crowded areas. Would definitely recommend.

Traded my 45L for the 30L and I am happy about it. I am on the shorter side and the 30L looks more proportional on me. What I like about it is that the placement of the top shoulder straps are above my shoulders, not dragging below my shoulders, and more balance on me. Now I don't look like a kid with an oversized backpack.
