Q: 1. Will this case hold two Canon camera bodies ( 7d and 6dmkii) with in addition to 16-36mm; 50mm; 100mm, 25-105mm, 20 - 200; and 100 - 400mm lenses?

A: Yes, this case will hold all your gear and then some.

Q: 2. I have a Varizoom 75mm Tripod. Will this fit?

A: this is a 75mm ball head and hence should fit any standard 75mm tripod.

Q: 3. Hi I just received my pelican case and I noticed it has 2 pick-n-pluck foam inserts, is one to protect the items from the bottom or could it be used to have more items fitted?

A: Hello. My name is Robbie Robinson . I am a professional photographer and video maker and I travel around the world quite a bit. Recently I bought two Pelican 1650 of cases . I really like them very much. The foam padding that isn't top of the case protects the item from any damage on the top. The foam padding that is the bottom of the case I cut out slots so I could place some of my LED lights and it worked out great. When I got to my location all of my gear was safe. With the wheels on the case it makes it quite easy to move in and out at the airport. Money well spent. I would strongly recommend buying some. Thank you very much. I have to go have a plane to catch. Happy shooting

Q: 4. Would this (Pelican 1650) fit a Sony fs5 with top handle without setting it on its side?

A: The Sony FS5 with it's top handle is just under 9" in height, which is well within the dimensions of the case to successfully pack the camera standing up and not have to lay it on its side.

Q: 5. Can I fit an iMac 27” inside this pelican?

A: No, given the dimension comparisons, it will not fit. The next size up should work, 1690.

Q: 6. Is this considered an M10 tie-down?

A: Yes, the OConnor Tie-Down for 08365 100mm Ball Base has an M10 connection.

Q: 7. What is the center thread size?

A: OConnor does not list the thread size of the OConnor Mitchell Base for 1040/2560/2575 Heads, but a compatible tie down is the OConnor Mitchell Tie-Down for Mitchell Base 08281 and C1225-1011, BH #OCC12341018.

Q: 8. Can this case fit Celestron sky prodigy 130 optical tube and mount?

A: Yes Mount, and OTA will fit in this Case.

Q: 9. Why is it $17,766.00?

A: Top level gear such as OConnor is used on productions where each hour is costing thousands of dollars. In such a situation, you as a cinematographer want only the finest equipment available. As a user of OConnor heads for years on multi million dollar feature sets, I can attest that when the shot and your job rests on everything working perfectly, you do not want to have gear that is anything less than the best. OConnor answers those needs; it works every time all the time. All this quality and ruggedness costs. More affordable gear will do a fine job for most consumer and light use professional productions. However, that level gear cannot hold up under super demanding situations.

Q: 10. Can I use this divider kit for the 1606 Pelican air?

A: Unfortunately, this Trekpak Divider Kit is not compatible with the Pelican 1606.
