No easel stays perfectly straight unless there are slider locks on all sides but it will certainly keep straighter than the Kaiser. Ideally you would want to tape down the side that doesn't have a clamp, that way it will always stay in position.

A: Yes the corner pieces are the same as the Avenger H800M frame.

A: No, you can't. I tried like crazy to purchase 2 additional Avenger pieces to make this an 8X and it's not possible. You'll need to get two extensions (measure first) crafted. I have not tried 4X as I don't have any material at that size.

Q: 10. How many inserts can this binder actually hold?

A: I have doubled the inserts that it originally came with but am not sure how many more it could actually hold. It also depends on how full you pack each insert...
