While I hated waiting a month for this cpu after purchasing it, it has been a wonder product so far and possibly still ended up being the best way to get the processor as they are still unavailable anywhere. I game at 1080o and my frame rates have doubled using a 1070ti. As of right now, I have no regrets with this purchase. 5

Other than being able to find this particular cpu in stock, it's also a great option for gaming. Paired with 16GB 3600MHz RAM, and a Vega 64, I can play Half Life Alyx and Cyberpunk 2077 on max settings (no ray tracing) with solid frame rates. Bear in mind this cpu does seem to run a bit warm, I'm using a Noctua NH-D15 air cooler in a Lian Li Tu150 case and with prime95 I get temps in the 80s, however, in more realistic situations like gaming, I only get temps in the 60s. Of course if you can afford the 5900 or 5950 go for it, but if this cpu is in your price range it's a great option. 5

Its great. Doesnt run hot at all if you arent overclocking and just gaming. Getting 60s with Dark Rock Pro 4 under gaming load, 30 and below when idle. 5

It's awesome, I use it in my gaming rig which had a 2700x in it before, faster is the new fast. My x570 motherboard did require a BIOS update for it to post, prior to that it would hang on DRAM. 5
