The satin nickel Microtech Gefell UM 930 Twin is a multi-pattern large-diaphragm condenser microphone offering ultralow noise and flexible pickup responses for precise capture of vocals and instruments such as strings, percussion, and guitars in recording facilities and radio studios.

It features a dual-capsule design with one cardioid capsule and a second capsule that yields five selectable polar patterns—omnidirectional, cardioid, wide cardioid, supercardioid, and figure-8, making it equally well suited for use as a main mic or as a part of stereo and mid-side configurations. In addition to conventional switched patterns, two different directional patterns can be selected at the same time. As far as comparing it to the iRig and the Blue Spark is not something that I would do. They all have their pros and cons. The only thing that matters is do you like the sound of the mic. Which as with all mics is a matter of personal preference.
