Q: 1. Will this work with the #AW-UE40KPJ?

A: Yes, the Panasonic AW-RM50AG IR Wireless Remote Control is compatible with the Panasonic 4K30 HDMI PTZ Camera with 24x Optical Zoom (Black).

Q: 2. Can I use this controller with a WIRED IR extender/repeater to control a Panasonic AW-UE70 mounted where I do not have line-of-sight access to the sensor on the camera? In other words - does it use a non-standard wavelength or frequency transmission?

A: Regarding the frequencies - this is a better question for Panasonic and the manufacturer of the IR extender you are planning to use. Chances are that it will work. I have had excellent success with Niles IR repeaters and most every brand of remote that I have used with it (Sony, Samsung, Yamaha, Panasonic, JVC, to name a few) . For a more expensive and very reliable solution I use Universal Remote Control remotes and their MRF 350 RF base station so you don't need line of sight to an IR repeater. I have even used the supplied IR remote of various pieces of gear pointed at a mirror that aims at the equipment to go around a corner in a room and it is very reliable. The distance is a factor...RF is good for typically 50 feet, depending on the wall construction.

Q: 3. What is the wavelength of the emitter?

A: The frequency is rated at 38khz which calculates to a wavelength of 7889.28 m for RF signals.

Q: 4. Can the reflector be tilted at an angle?

A: Yes it pivot

Q: 5. Will it work with ue-20

A: Yes, the Panasonic AW-RM50AG IR Wireless Remote Control would be compatible, and work with the Panasonic AW-UE20 PTZ camera.

Q: 6. Can I use this filter (E43 multicoated filter) on a Leica X (type 113)? Thanks,

A: Yes you can, the lens has 43mm filter thread size.

Q: 7. Does this work with the Illuminator Collapsible 6-in-1 Reflector 52''?

A: This heavy-duty unit will fit reflectors from 30" to 72".

Q: 8. What exactly does this cord goes to?

A: This cable has an emitter on one end and TRS connector on the other. This cable is designed for use with Shinybow devices

Q: 9. Hi B&H Photo,Hope you may help. I'm interested of buying this filter for my Summilux 50mm f1.4 lens (1964 Type 2) which uses 43mm size filter.I mainly to use it for protection and would like to use Leica brand filter. However, I normally use UVA filter and never use IR filter before. With this filter it has UVA/IR so Im wondering how would the IR part impacting the picture quality. Im aware this was designed for M8 which reduces the purple-ish colour in Black colour. Im using M6 film camera with Summilux lens so I would like to know would that be ok to use this UVA/IR filter or it may have impact on picture quality if Im not using M8.Hope you may help and I rely on your expert opinions on this. :)Thank you,Frederick

A: This filter is an Infrared filter and is not for the use you described.I suggest a filter like this one. It is one of the better brands for optics and coatings.B+W 43mm XS-Pro UV MRC-Nano 010M FilterB&H # BWUVXSP43 ? Mfr # 66-1073879http://bhpho.to/1uBf9XT

They fold up and fit into a semi-flat (3 inch) by 13 inch case. Good quality construction and I like the softer gold color. I have used the two light diffusers also shooting in the sun.
