As soon as you unwrap it, the static that is created attracts every piece of dust to the thing like a magnet. I had to buy glass separately. And the frame itself is pretty flimsy. Some were nicked right out of the box. And don't drop one. It falls apart. But yes. It does come with backing.

If you're interested in Hahnemuhle Photo Luster 290, it is 290 microns in thickness. or .29 mm, so the Epson Stylus 1400 cannot handle that thickness. You can use Epson photo papers if they are within the specs and I believe most are for that printer series. The thickness should be indicated on the box or in the specs for the paper.
