A sheepfoot blade and lockless design characterize the Roadie Folding Knife from Spyderco. The 2.1" blade is crafted from N690Co steel, a stainless steel alloyed with cobalt, molybdenum, and vanadium with a full flat grind for a very sharp edge. The blade features "Double Dent" dimples that replace a fingernail nick as the purchase point for two-handed opening. There's also a Trademark Round Hole that identifies the Roadie as a Spyderco knife but plays no role in opening the blade. A forefinger choil with jimping aids in edge control and also helps prevent the blade from unintentionally closing. The blue fiberglass-reinforced nylon scales are contoured for comfort and feature a recessed graphic of the Spyderco bug on both sides.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a place to hold a water bottle?

A: It's too bad that I have to decide between either a tripod or water bottle. Seems like it would've easy to either add another pocket on the opposite side or add some tie downs.

Q: 2. Is the shell of the Roadie 24 as rigid as the Roadie Air Case Roller 21? In the images, the shell of the 24 seems thinner.

A: The Tenba Roadie Air Case Roller 21 would offer thicker padding over the Tenba Roadie Roller 24.

Q: 3. Will this fit a Nikon 400mm f2.8 with Z9 and FTZ adapter attached?

A: Yes. The following unit will accommodate a 400mm f/2.8 lens or eight to ten smaller lenses.

Q: 4. Is the interior of this bag tall enough to hold a speedlight upright and straightened?

A: This bag will not hold a flash upright unless the flash head is at a 90 degrees angle.

Q: 5. What's the weight of this bag?

A: The weight of this bag is 7.1 lbs.

Q: 6. Will the main compartment fit a Nikon 500 F4?

A: A 500mm F/4 will fit.

Q: 7. Can a ad300 pro fit vertically

A: Yes, the Godox AD300 Pro fits vertically inside of the Tenba Roadie Roller 21.

Q: 8. Anyone had any trouble carrying this on a flight?

A: While the Tenba Roadie Roller 21 dimensions do not exceed the average carry-on size of 22 x 14 x 9", certain airlines have differing requirements for carry-on sizes.

Q: 9. What is the difference between the Roadie Hybrid Roller and the Roadie Roller? Both seem to have backpack shoulder straps.

A: According to the manufacturer, the Tenba Roadie Hybrid Roller 21 has a Fast-Deploying Backpack Harness which allows the Roadie to be carried comfortably when the terrain is not "wheel friendly," such as on stairs or over sand or dirt. The Fast-Deploying Backpack Harness is not listed as included with the Tenba Roadie Roller 21. The Tenba Roadie Roller 21, B&H # TERR21B, instead has a Quick Access Battery Pocket, which is a rear zippered pocket that can hold most common portable batteries for charging mobile phones and other portable devices. Twin zippers allow cables to be easily threaded out of the pocket. The interior of the Tenba Roadie Hybrid Roller 21 is slightly deeper. The interior dimensions of the Tenba Roadie Roller 21 are 12W x 17H x 6.25-7.75D in. (30W x 43H x 15.8-19.6D cm), whereas the interior dimensions of the Tenba Roadie Hybrid Roller 21 are 12W x 17H x 6-7D in. (30W x 43H x 15.2-17.7D cm). That being said, both cases appear to have identical exterior dimensions, and all other specifications are identical.

Q: 10. What would fit in the top pocket? A 5Dmkiii with the 40mm pancake lens attached? Or a Hasselblad 501cm with the wlf and 80mm?

A: The Hasselblad will probably fit on its side. The length of the Hasselblad and lens is similar to the width of the top compartment. The Canon body would fit easily.
