I have used fold-able round reflectors for a number of years and I've always had a problem keeping them flat and ridged while in use. I decided to finally get a TriGrip after reading some great reviews and I am definitely not sorry I did. I have been more than happy with the performance of this product. Even a small assistant can handle this reflector due to the handle's design and it's light weight components. I will be buying more of these in the future.

This diffuser is great! Not only does it do the job of softening light for outdoor portraits, it has this amazingly sturdy rubber-grip handle. Like most other reflectors it still folds up nicely into a small zippered pouch for easy carrying. I want another diffuser just like this in a larger size!

Even though I have used this unit only a few times, it already has helped balance the shots I use it with. Softens light on faces when doing portraits. Great for directing light angles. Easy to unfold, use and put away.

I ordered the TriGrip after attending a workshop with Joe McNally who uses them religiously - and to great effect! And now I know why. The TriGrip is light, balanced, extremely easy to hold and position. I have used it several times on my own, holding the camera in one hand and the TriGrip in the other. Try that with a regular reflector! This thing is great, and I highly recommend it. It works well as a shoot-through diffuser for a flash or as a way to reduce harsh light from the sun. I plan on adding other members of the TriGrip family to my kit.

I've bought several of these in the past, and I use all of them regular and, sometimes, all at once, at the same time. They do a wonderful job diffusing the sunlight in a very uniform manner (no hotspots on the subject) and are also great for shooting speedlights or strobes through if you don't have a softbox with you. Lastolite makes great products, and I buy from them whenever possible.

How do you hold a reflector and shoot at the same time? This is the best way. Use it close up to fill in shadows or as a beauty dish. Works great.

This baby let me put the right amount of light where I needed to bring out the detail in the shadows.

Add and Subtract light from the subject. The handle is great. Even momy can hold it accurately. Wouldn't leave studio without it!!
