This line array microphone system has the features of a cardioid microphone in the horizontal plane, and the features of a directional microphone with an operating angle of approximately 30° in the vertical plane. Due to its directional characteristics, the KEM 975 can be used for recording sound sources that are very extensive in width and depth or moving sound sources, and since the complete signal processing is analog, there are no signal delays.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are this the Canon Batteries compatible with the new RED Komodo?

A: Yes, these are compatible.

Q: 2. Is this battery compatible with my canon xl 2?

A: This battery will absolutely work with the XL2 camera, as far as powering it up. It won't communicate battery life to the XL2, but the battery check on the back of the battery will still guide you. I have a couple of XL2's that I built my business up on. I've since moved on to the XF camera's, but can interchange batteries easily. I would highly recommend buying the BP-975 though. Same battery, just bigger and lasts 2-3 times longer.Ted B - TVX Video, San Diego, CA

Q: 3. I have a bp 925 battery will this bp-955 work as a replacement?

A: I believe this battery replaced the 925.

Q: 4. Does it require phantom power?

A: The PreSonus PD-70 does not require phantom power.

Q: 5. Would this be a good lapel mic for sit down interview or is it designed primarily for stage use on actors?

A: The AKG LC81 MD Reference Lightweight Cardioid Lavalier Microphone could be used for an interview scenario as well as stage use. Its cardioid pickup pattern makes it more directional to help focus on the voice and eliminate external noise, as well as possibly reducing the possibility of feedback when it is amplified.

Q: 6. run time on C100 Mark II anybody?

A: This battery will run for about 3-4 hours.

Q: 7. I purchased a Watson compact charger for my Canon BP-955 but it does not work. Which one should I buy?

A: The Canon CA-935 is the best option for charging BP-900 style batteries.https://bhpho.to/2Ka4aRb

Q: 8. Will these work on the C200?

A: No, these will not work on the C200. That camera, like the C300 Mk II, requires 12 volt batteries like the BP-A30 or the BP-A60. The BP-900 series batteries are only 8.4 volts and will only work in the C300 Mk I, the C100 Mk i and Mk II, as well as some smaller Canon camcorders.

Q: 9. What connection Jack does this mic use?

A: The AKG LC81 MD has a MicroDot connector. There are adapters available from AKG and other manufacturers to convert the MicroDot connector to a different type of connector and enable compatibility with a variety of wireless transmitters or to connect the mic to a standard XLR input. For example, the AKG MDA3 SEN2 MicroLite Microphone Adapter Connector for Sennheiser Bodypack Transmitter with 3.5mm Phone Jack (B&H # AKMDA3) or Deity Microphones DA35 Microdot to Locking 3.5mm Adapter - Black (B&H # DEDA35) will both convert the MicroDot connector to a 3.5mm TRS locking connector for use with Sennheiser transmitters. You can find the AKG MicroDot adapters listed on the item page for the mic -- click on the tab for "Accessories" above the product description, then click on the tab for "Adapters." You can also use the website search bar to find the adapters or contact us by phone or through live chat on the website if you would like further assistance.

Q: 10. How long will it take to charge the REDVOLT BP BATTERY ?

A: The SHAPE BP Dual LCD Charger for Canon BP-975 Batteries should charge a RED DIGITAL CINEMA REDVOLT BP for KOMODO 6K S35 from dead to fully charged in 4.2 hours.
