Q: 1. Is this 115mm model compatible with the older DH101 head as direct mount? Thanks.

A: Yes, this this 115mm model is compatible with the older DH101 head as a direct mount.

Q: 2. Does it work with the STM 80 or the ATM 80

A: The Eye Cup for ATX/STX will not work with an ATM/STM spotter. Assuming you have a 20-60 or 25-50 Wide Angle Eyepiece, you'll need our item 44089. This can be found by searching the B&H page for "Swarovski Optik 44089".

Q: 3. Is there any difference in image quality between an angled or straight viewing eye piece?

A: Hello, There is no difference in image quality, only in how you place your eye to look through the spotter. The straight eyepiece is coaxial with the field of view, so it's more intuitive, but the angled is more forgiving in field positions. Best Regards, David Eickelmann, Swarovski Optik North America.

Q: 4. How come the eyepieces magnification for 115 is the same as for 95?

A: The magnification is the same because magnification is not dependent on objective lens diameter. The 95mm is much less weight which comes into play for transporting then the 115mm is much bigger but brighter.

Q: 5. Has anyone tried the LensSack Jr. with a gimbal head? Would like to use the Jr. with a gimbal head and Nikon 600 f/4 while in Kenya.

A: According to LensCoat, you may add a gimbal to this product via the 3/8-16” mounting plate.

Q: 7. What is the field of view with the ATX 115 mm?

A: The field of view is the same as the 95mm 57 " to 104' at 1,000 yds.

Q: 8. 1- could you let me know the size of the filter I can put in front of the 95mm objective?

A: Hello Jeremiah - My apologies for the delay in responding - I did not get the notification. The 95mm Modular Objective can accept a 97mm filter size, which is a VERY uncommon size. Here is the bottom line, even if you were able to source out a 97mm filter, or use a 105mm filter and a step-down ring: there are no filters currently on the market that will not adversely affect the optical performance of the spotting scope. Thinking this through: a $400 filter used on a Canon 800mm f/5/6 lens is only having to work with a 16x lens magnification. It is a perfectly good optical system. That same filter quality attached to the 95mm scope now has to deliver top optical quality at 70x!!! If you want to use the filter as protection for the scope front element, you will be adversely affecting image quality by doing so. My tip - slide out the retractable sunshade when you are using the spotting scope in the field, and it will be less likely for you to scratch or damage the scope lens.

Q: 9. What size filter does the it take?

A: The millimeter size is 118mm The thread pitch is 0.75 B&H does not sell any 118mm filters.

Q: 10. Is there a adaptor to allow iPhone15 attach to Eyepiece Module for taking wildlife vedic?
