Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I stick a filter without a lid in this? Or can it get scratched?

A: Yes, you can. There are soft dividers on the inside separating the filters, so you can put them inside without a hard case.

Q: 2. Do you think it would be possible to cram two B+W Plastic Filter Case D's (MFR # 65-1071524) inside it (so that it has extra dust/scratch protection in the plastic case, and additional padding protection from the Ruggard Pouch)?

A: I'm going to say probably not. Looking at the specs of the plastic case, and the way this pouch is made, I highly doubt even one would fit. This pouch has 4 slots tat hold up to 82mm, but the slot dividers are stitched together, then stitched inside the pouch, making it a snug fit just for filters. I took a photo to show you, but I don't know how to post it.

Q: 3. What are the specs? How heavy? What are the measurements LxWxH?

A: About 10-15 lbs , foot long, 10 in wide , 7-8 in high

Q: 4. Does this bag hold the large Lee Filters 150x170. Confusing when filters are mm and pouch description is inches. I don't trust my conversion skills since I calculate a 150 x 170mm filter = 5.9.x 6.7 inches or a 4x6 in filter = 101 x 152. Based on this, the pouch would NOT handle the 150 series Lee Filters. Agree or disagree?

A: You are correct. It will handle filters up to 100mm wide (4 inches) and 152mm in length (6 inches). The Lee 150x170 filters are too big for this pouch.

Q: 5. What are the specs? How heavy? What is the LxWxH?

A: I don't see a weight listed on the unit. It's rather heavy, say, 12-15 lbs?

Q: 6. What material is this made out of?

A: K-Tek states the item is aluminum.

Q: 7. would it be possible to fit a graduated filter in this pouch?

A: As long as it's less than 86mm it will fit.

Q: 8. Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?

A: The Ruggard Five Pocket Filter Pouch (up to 4 x 6") does not include a shoulder strap. It does have a touch-tab belt loop.

Q: 9. Hello! I have a gauge master model train controller in the US That is from the UK. It’s supposed to be 240 V. Will that work?

A: Yes, the Sevenstar ST-200 Step Up/Step Down Transformer (200W), B&H # SEST200UD, will allow you to use a 240V device in the US as long as it does not exceed the 200W max power rating.

Q: 10. For best results, should I remove the UV filter from my lens before attaching the NiSi Close-Up Lens?

A: Yes; while it is not required if your UF filter has front filter threads, if you wish to obtain optimum results, I would recommend removing your UV filter before connecting the NiSi 58mm Close-Up NC Lens to your lens.
