Tubes are very handy, because you can just keep them in your bag, if you do a lot of macro shooting. You can stack them for greater magnification. Depending on what you are shooting and how much, a bellows may be a better option. A bellows gives you more flexibility, because you have a continuous change in magnification, without having to change tubes. The bellows expands, or contracts, depending on your needs. Some can also tilt, or shift.
