Q: 1. I have a Nikon D3200 and SB700 speedlight. I am new to remote triggers. So basically I am asking, do I just attached this to the camera and then the SB700 is automatically triggered? Or do I need to attach something to flash?Does this support TTL, or will the flash have to be in manual mode?

A: To use the PocketWizard PlusX Transceiver to trigger the Nikon SB-700 Speedlight Flash off-camera, you would need two (2) PlusX Transceivers; one on the D3200 camera as a transmitter, and one connected to the SB-700 (via the PocketWizard HSFM3 Flash Sync Cable (3'), B&H # WIHSFM3) as a receiver. The PlusX Transceiver is not capable of automatic i-TTL flash exposure. As such, you would have to set the output power on the flash manually.

Q: 2. Will this work on older Norman P2000D packs?

A: Yes that will work. To attach the Plus X to the pack you need a household to mini sync cord. This is a few of them.PocketWizard MH1 Miniphone to Household Cable - Straight - 16 (40.6 cm) B&H # WICHHM16 MFR # MH1Impact Sync Cord Male Mini to Male Household (18 ) B&H # IMMMHHM18 MFR # 10032330

Q: 3. Will this works with older profoto pack with integrated pocketwizard?

A: Yes this unit is backwards compatible with built in Pocket Wizard receivers found in many Profoto power packs or monolights.

Q: 4. Is it possible to run a Nikon SB 800 Flash on the Panasonic G85 using that pocketwizard?

A: Yes, to make the PocketWizard PlusX Transceiver work with your Nikon SB 800 flash you will need Impact SCS-M18 Mini Plug to Hot Shoe Sync Cord (12") to be plugged into one transceiver. The other PocketWizard PlusX Transceiver will live on top of your camera's hot shoe.

Q: 5. Will these work with Profoto A10?

A: The Pocketwizard Plus X is not compatible with the A10 radio system.

Q: 6. Would these work on Leica SL-2S to trigger an Elinchrom Five?

A: Yes, the PocketWizard Plus X 2 Pack would work on the Leica SL2-S Mirrorless Camera and would trigger an Elinchrom FIVE Monolight Kit.

Q: 7. will this remotely fire my canon 430exii shooting with my 5D mark iii? Thanks!

A: Yes. One PW goes on top of your camera and one is attached to your flash. Just use the included PC cord. If your flash does not have a PC plug on it you will have to buy an adapter that fits on the bottom of your flash..

Q: 8. My question is will the pocket wizard plusx work with elinchrom D-lite 400w/s RX-4?

A: Carlos,It should trigger your strobes. You will need the Pocketwizard cable designed for your equipment. You can find their information on Pocket Wizards site, then order it through B&H

Q: 9. Can two PlusX (transmitter) trigger 1 PlusX (receiver) simultaneously without interfering? A situation when the 2nd shooter is also using 2nd transmitter to trigger the same strobe the first shooter is triggering ?

A: If you've got two photographers in the same studio, each with a PlusX transceiver on their camera (set to the same channel), they can both trigger the strobes. The receiver doesn't care where the signal comes from, just that it's the right frequency. The limiting factor will be the recycle rate of the lighting units (which can be a few seconds, depending on their settings) so if you both try to trigger the strobes at the same exact time, they'll only fire once.

Q: 10. Will it trigger a Godox V860II?

A: This unit is not compatible with the Godox's built in receiver. If you attach a Pocketwizard transceiver to the Godox its possible however it would have diminished capabilities relative to the Godox transmitters.
