A: This is my first Peli case ... so can't compare/contrast ... but the wheel/bearing assembly appears to be replaceable ... glad to send you a pic of what I am looking at if that is possible here.

Q: 3. For packing lights, do you recommend the foam or divider panels? Thanks!

A: Pick and pluck foam is not nearly as durable. I started out with a Pelican with the foam, and switched to the dividers when I ordered my next, larger Pelican Air (super happy with this case) and I am much happier.

Q: 4. can this hold the k-pod with hercules head attached?

A: I have a gitzo 1325 tripod with a Wimberley gimbal head. Is the case wide enough at the top to handle the gimbal head ?

Q: 5. How much does the handle pocket subtract from the inside depth of the case?

A: 7/8th of an inch in depth. the pocket takes up a rectangle that is 7&3/8s x 21 inches, centered to the top side of the case. the non-retractable handle takes up an additional small space, protruding 1&3/4 x 3&1/2 into the main case. this is on top of the protrusion from the retractable handle.the wheels on the bottom also protrude into the main case, 2 x 2&1/2 cheers.

Q: 6. Does the back of the case have an opening for the screen?

A: FUJIFILM Soft Case for Instax MINI EVO does not have a screen opening in the back. You need to remove the camera from the case in order to use the camera.

Q: 7. Will this case accommodate Canon 24-70 f/2.8 IS II, also a canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 IS II standing on end?

A: Yes it will. Interior dimensions are 9.38 and the 100-400 is 7.6 .

Q: 8. Can I fit 8 Paul C Buff Einsteins in this?

A: 8? No way.

Q: 9. can you check as baggage?

A: Yes. This is within 62inch in total dimension. Plus thats what pelican air is. They redesigned the product to be approved in the airplane dimension. It is also lighter than the orig pelican. I will not think twice buying this item again. Note this is not a carry on baggage.

Q: 10. Is the FUJIFILM Instax Mini 40 Case a leather case?

A: It is not made of real leather--it's a simulated leather.
