This white Eylar Compact Case with Foam is designed to secure your equipment for transport or storage. Molded from reinforced polypropylene plastic, this case is water-, dust-, and shockproof. A: The foam has a snug fit but I very compressible. I've found that you can squish the 1/2 cube down to 1/8 . That's if you don't care to take your cargo in and out often. I give my gear two or three cubes for easy in and out. The overall gap between the foam and the side is about 1/16 or so. Hope that helps.

A: The most notable difference are the latches. The 1500 have the older style latches that take a bit more effort to lock and unlock. The IM2370 has the push button latch which makes opening and closing the case easier in my opinion.

A: You could store the Nikon D90 with the 18-105mm attached in the portion of the insert where the long dividers turn at a right angle, with the Nikon 85mm in front. The Sekonic meter and air blower can be placed in the space above and below the 18-105mm lens.
