A: No, the viewfinder from the Sony F800 XD Cam does not fit the Sony PXW-X400.

A: The height adjustable camera "Boom" part of the ALZO Bod-A-Boom hands free camera support is not removable. The ball head camera mount on the top of the "Boom" includes a camera quick release plate to allow for fast release and re connect of the camera. This allows for quick change to hand held camera work.
