Audio professionals looking for the very best converters will appreciate the updated Apogee Electronics 16x16 SE Module, a sixteen-channel analog input and sixteen-channel analog output module for the Symphony I/O Mk II. The module occupies one of the two slots available on the chassis. Additionally, two-channel coaxial S/PDIF input and output is also provided. The A/D circuit has been refined to offer a streamlined circuit design, resulting in the most transparent signal path to the A/D stage possible.

The D/A section has been optimized with a more powerful and robust output driver that is capable of driving virtually any input without a decrease in performance, regardless of the load presented by the connected gear. The analog inputs and outputs are offered on DB-25 connectors and require optional breakout cables, available in various configurations to suit individual requirements.

Q: 1. Would this fit nicely into the fractal design define 7 mid tower case? Thank you! I appreciate your knowledge and helpful attitude! For realz!

A: Yes, this ASUS Pro WS WRX80E-Sage SE WIFI sWRX8 E-ATX Motherboard will fit nicely into the Fractal Design Define 7 Mid-Tower Case.

Q: 2. where can i get cooling for this motherboard?

A: The ASUS WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WIFI contains both passive and semi-passive cooling components, including a VRM heat sink with a fan and M.2 heat sinks. For additional cooling options, any CPU cooler compatible with the TR4 socket should be compatible with this board's sWRX8 CPU socket.

Q: 3. What is new with this wifi II model vs the previous model that costs $999.99?

A: The ASUS Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WIFI II sWRX8 E-ATX Motherboard BH #ASPWRX80ESSW • MFR #PRO WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WIFI II includes higher end WIFI 6E Tri-Band whereas the previous version does not.

Q: 4. I would like to send a hdmi signal from my desktop computer to one of the SDI inputs. What would I use to do this? I tried a a SDI to HDMI converter with Power Supply Adapter, Audio Embedder that support HDMI 1.3, 3G/HD-SDI . It would not detect the computer HDMI signal. HELP!

A: We would suggest working with a HDMI to SDI solution with a scaler that would fix many of the issues with computer resolutions and framerates. https://bhpho.to/3wI6Hgj

Q: 5. Can I use a consumer camera with BNC out, like the BNC on datavideo SE-500

A: Hello,No, BNC connector on the SE-500 is for a Composite signal input. Our SE-1200MU switcher is a HD switcher that accepts HD-SDI or HDMI signals. It is compatible with Composite output from a consumer camera. Thanks!

Q: 6. Will the Datavideo DE-650 record each input into a separate MP4 video file?

A: Unfortunately it will not. That is not possible with this switcher. For ISO recording of each input you'd need to look at Software and Computer Based Switching solutions. The Telestream Wirecast Gear 110 is a great option to consider, BH #TEWCGEAR110. https://bhpho.to/2kPYog8

Q: 7. Hello, I have this MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X 11G Graphics Card. My questions is if this card will fit or will be compatible with this motherboard? I noticed that this MB has PCI Express 4.0 x16 and my card PCI Express 3.0 x16

A: PCI Express is backwards compatible. You card will work.

Q: 8. Thanks to all for the reviews. Several owners mention the weight of the unit and how it needs to be paired with a heavy/sturdy tripod to keep from toppling. Any reco's on a specific tripod that would work? B&H links the Auray RFMS-580 tripod with this filter. Anybody happen to be using that stand? Sturdy enough? Does it work? Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

A: John if it is not too late, I would recommend a c-stand, like the ones impact make, very solid, especially with a sandbag for good measure.
