The white 20328I Tensioned Advantage Deluxe Electrol Projection Screen from Da-Lite is designed to be concealed neatly in a ceiling when not in use, which makes it ideal for corporate conference rooms. The screen can be installed in two stages; the screen case can be installed during construction, and the screen assembly can be attached during the finishing stage. Once the screen is installed, the screen's trim conceals the rough opening in the ceiling, eliminating the need to complete additional trim work. Sliding installation brackets allow you to attach the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling. Closure doors keep the screen out of sight when it isn't being used.

The HD Progressive 1.1 Perf surface has a 1.1 gain, 170° viewing angle, and is ideal for applications where projector brightness and screen size require an increase in gain. The white surface offers true color reproduction and fidelity. The perforated vinyl surface allows for the installation of speakers behind the surface. HD Progressive 1.1 Perf can be cleaned with mild soap and water, and is flame-retardant and mildew-resistant. It is also GREENGUARD GOLD Certified. Each side of the material uses a tab guide cable system to maintain even lateral tension and hold the surface flat. This helps to ensure that pixels from the display image don't overlap with one another. Tensioning also helps to prevent creases or folding of your screen. A custom slat bar with added weight maintains vertical tension on the screen surface.

For controlling the screen, a three-position Decora-style wall plate is included, along with a cover switch. Low Voltage Control allows the screen to be controlled via a low voltage signal or momentary dry contact from a third-party control system. The LVC is necessary if you are using an IR or RF remote to control your screen. The video projector interface provides DC controls that allow you to control the screen by simply turning your projector on or off. The screen will descend when the projector is turned on, and retract back into the case when the projector is turned off. Your projector must have a 12V or 5V lead to operate the interface (cable not included).

The screen has two motors, both mounted inside the case. One motor operates the door at the bottom of the case, and the other controls the viewing surface.

The electrical junction box is internally integrated into the housing, making it possible to install the housing, and then wire to the building's electrical system during construction.

Smooth Roll Technology to keep your screen flat.

Slim-Tab, a lower profile, and strong tab design to keep your screen taut.

White powder-coated case with white endcaps and closure doors for a clean aesthetic.

The case is UL Plenum rated.

Q: 1. Will the speed ring that comes with this light accept medium Quartz + Daylite softboxes from Chimera as well?If not, what is the speed ring diameter for this light, so I can seperately purchase one that fits my needs?

A: As the ARRI Arrilite 750 Plus comes with an accessory holder that allows you to use softboxes without speedrings, if you are referring to either the Chimera Quartz Plus Softbox - Medium - 36x48 (90x120cm), B&H # CHQPBM, or the Chimera Quartz Plus 1 Bank - Medium - 36x48 (91x122cm), B&H # CHQP1BM, then yes, both should be able to connect to the Arrilite 750 without the purchase of a separate speedring.

Q: 2. Hey there, would this be recommended for video work?

A: No you need a continues light for video

Q: 3. two questions really1. Is there an accessory i can pick up that will allow me to use a westcott parabolic umbrella easily with this (pointing the 750 into the umbrella or shooting through it)? My lightstand will be an impact branded chrome c-stand.2. im going to be shooting primarily outside and would like to daylight balance the light. I know this can be done with gels. The question i have is where and how to mount the gels w/o melting them. Thanks!

A: 1. This is a hanging fixture. You'd have to find some kind of adapter to change it to a stand mount. A 750W fixture is also possibly a bit too hot for your umbrella. You might consider a diffusion gel instead.2. For the gel, you'd want to use no-drip, fire resistant certified gels (Apollo, Rosco) & a gel frame available many places including B&H I'm sure. Check the diameter of the hole of the frame to be sure it is going to let most of your light thru, but you can use a generic gel frame.

Q: 4. Hello; Is the input restricted to 120VAC or does it cover the standard 110/220V ? Thanks !

A: It is restricted to 120VAC

Q: 5. Is the ballast necessary for this lamp to be used? https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/664968-REG/Arri_518500_M18_HMI_Lamphead_110_220VAC.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/664968-REG/Arri_518500_M18_HMI_Lamphead_110_220VAC.html/a

A: Yes a ballast is needed to power the Arri M18 HMI Lamphead. The recommended ballast would be the Arri 1200/1800W High Speed Electronic Ballast B&H # ARBE1.21.8K. Please see the image for reference.

Q: 6. Can you control the power output with this unit, or is it constant power?

A: It's constant power. No power settings.

Q: 7. is there a way to power it from a battery?

A: The Impact SF-AE80 AC Flash (110-130 VAC) light is only AC and does not run on battery.

Q: 8. The spec sheet says this light accepts 750, 575 and 375W HPL lamps, but I couldn't find any 375W HPL lamps with a G9.5 base on B&H. Where can I find an appropriate one for a 220VAC, 50Hz socket?

A: Jay - I would have to say if B&H doesn't carry any 375W HPL lamps with a G9.5 base, then they REALLY must be tough to find. I bought the Arrilite 750 Plus specifically because I was looking for a high output light. I coupled it with the 36x48 Chimera Medium Video Pro Plus 1 Softbox. A powerful, super creamy soft light had been recommended by DPs Alex Buono and Shane Hurlbut for solo filmmakers ( like myself ). Something that would be powerful and easy to set up and break down. I added the Impact D1000 1,000W AC Dimmer Control to give me some flexibility without worrying about changing out lamps. Both the Arrilite 750 Plus and the Chimera Softbox work great together, and do produce a lovely wrap-around light for interview subjects - which was my need. Maybe the dimmer is an idea for you? Hope this helps . . .

Q: 9. Can you use chimera video pro softbox s with this lamp without any additional speedrings? a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/149963-REG/Arri_571159_Chimera_Video_Pro_Bank.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/149963-REG/Arri_571159_Chimera_Video_Pro_Bank.html/a

A: Yes; as indicated under the Overview, the detachable accessory holder handles accepts Chimera Video Pro Plus softboxes without having to purchase a dedicated speed ring.

Q: 10. where are the barn doors for the Fresnel 150?

A: Barn doors are an accessory, and need to be purchased separately. You may also want to purchase some scrims and a spare bulb.

I ride a motorcycle and because of that, space is an issue. Using a light tripod as a lightstand, a clip light and this I was able to bring a portable studio in my saddle bag.

You can't beat the price - and with multi socket adapters, you can combine several make seriously powerful light setups for next to nothing. You just connect the sync cable to one and the rest will be triggered automatically.

Some complain about not being able to plug the included pc sync cable once you screw in the bulb due to the admittedly short sighted idea to place the port in the back, but this is easily overcome by buying a 3 dollar socket extender from Home Depot that easily provides enough clearance.

I would discourage others from buying Impact's porcelain socket with stand/umbrella adapter as a match for this because due to poor design the metal sleeve inside the socket breaks easily. Use a different product/lamp. Nothing to do with these flashes-they are awesome!9

I use it as the slave, but because I cannot insert a synch cord once I've screwed the light into the socket, I can only use these bulbs as slaves. I can adjust the output by using a set of old barn door I had. Very fast recycle time.

Great bang for your buck! My only issue is the placement of the test trigger, its right on the back near the threads so its a tight fit when i screw it in to my power source.
