Nice small sized pouch with typical Billingham quality. Good for batteries, cleaning supplies, other small items. Attaches securely and has a nice drawstring top.

Great Billingham Quality, aesthetics and protection. I recently added a small bag to my collection, so I could carry ONLY one camera(without battery grip) and one lens, I ended up buying this pocket as well as the Avea3, so I could carry a couple of filters (77mm) and a Flash. Im quite happy with it (and every other billingham item I own) so if you can spare afew bucks,and need some extra space on your bag (check fit directly with billingham), buy it

If you've got a Billingham shoulder bag such as a Hadley Pro or Hadley Large, or one of the 7 series, you'll no doubt have noticed that sliplock-type side or end pouches made by Lowepro and Tamrac can't be attached. The reason is that Billingham decided to use a narrowly sewn double-loop side attachment. The Avea 3 is the smallest Billingham side pouch and it's specifically designed to securely attach to the ends of all Billingham bags which feature the double-loop attachment. I use the Avea 3 to hold several items I want to get at quickly under any circumstances: a 3GB iPod, earbuds, Lenspen and a writing pen. Because the Avea 3 has a fixed divider in its main compartment, earbuds can be kept coiled and away from the other items. The Avea 3 has an inner, integrated liner with a drawstring top that can be cinched tight using the attached cord and sliding lock. Combined with the full top flap, weather including wind borne dust, splashes and even driving rain are kept out of the pouch. As usual, Billingham's signature fabric remains tough, abrasion resistant and good looking no matter what sort of treatment it receives. During the first month of daily use attached to my Billingham Hadley Pro, the Avea 3 gradually broke in to the point where it began to conform to the left end of the Hadley. The leather strip to which the snap closure is affixed also softened enough to be easily worked. After two months of daily use, I'm not looking anywhere else for a replacement pouch. The Avea 3 is an excellent match for the Hadley series of bags. It's nicely sized and also looks balanced on all the medium size Billingham shoulder bags with which its compatible. If you need just a bit of extra room and fast access to frequently used items while you're exploring the world with your camera and a Billingham bag, the Avea 3 should do the trick. Highly recommended.

Got 2 Avea pouch on both sides, great for traveling (Avea 5 can fit sunglasses, wallet, mobile, passport and candies), and take off one Avea pouch if just go on street photoshoot on weekend.

Perfect for my Billingham Hadley Pro bag. The AVEA 5 doesn't fit very well for me. AVEA 3 is smaller and more compact. I used to put 2 of them on my bag. Billingham's quality and finishing is amazing!

Not long ago I was looking for a new camera bag. My research lead me to explore The offerings from Billingham of England. The research also demonstrated uniformly positive remarks from all who bought them.With these factors in mind, I ordered the Hadley Pro. On a recent trip to photograph a wedding, I found the bag provided exceptional protection for some expensive Nikon glass. Everything I needed was readily at hand, and even the rain did not affect my shooting. The internal padding was excellent, and easily configured. I found that I could make use of some additional room, so I ordered two more Avea side bags. I am enthusiastic about the ease of use, and would highly recommend this bag to professionals and amateurs alike. It is wonderful!

On my belt for one lens. and his viewfinder. I have to modify the interior to put my leica M 18mm and viewfinder inside, but now it is perfect, not too big and useful in ride.

I use these with the Billingham Hadley Pro bag, to give me customized options for carrying carried amounts of gear based on the anticipated need. These make the investment in the Hadley Pro even more worthwhile, because the added flexibility means you'll carry the bag more often. They are bigger than I'd expected, although perfect matches for the Hadley Pro. And they still can be attached to the Hadley Pro and keep it under the limit for under seat airline storage, if I so choose. One could be on the bag, and the other on my belt. Much better than a fanny pack and it matches the rest of my gear. I could just fit my Olympus OM-D E-M1 and 17mm prime lens in one, but it's probably better just for a body or lens. You could probably fit two MFT lenses, alone, in one AVEA 5.
